Hello Ladies (and several guys who will look as this post even though they do not have boobies)! Needing to get some new bras with good support that are still pretty and do not cause that awful "cone" shape! lol Any specific brands that you would suggest?

I rarely say this but....higher price usually means better. I'm a DD and have been my whole life regardless of weight. The cheaper ones just aren't as good. Over the last few years I've noticed most straps can't be adjusted as much as before. I'm wondering who came up with that idea. I like adjustable straps.

I think jcp has a decent selection of bras. Honestly it can take me days to find one I like. It's worse than purse shopping. lol.

Look online to, I used to order some really nice ones for pretty good prices and I can't remember the name of the site. It was only bras. They had every kind you could think of.

    Lane Bryant Cacique are wonderful.

They have several types, but I am partial to the full coverage. Very comfortable and if you time it right you can buy one/get one free. I usually stock up then. I'm a DD and there is no pain, no "spillage", the support is great. The "girls" stay where they are supposed to all day long.

My husband has commented how much smaller my whole body looks with just a good, supportive bra!! :flowerforyou:

For normal bras - Lane Bryant's Cacique line - but forewarning their smallest back size is 36.

For sports bras - Moving Comfort - Fiona

Victoria's Secret. Reliably true to size, support, and cute. Just wish they had all their styles above a D cup.

    Chantelle!!

Let me expand on this: They are the only brand whose molded cup bras (which I love) don't give me that awkward cone-boob. I went to a local fancy-pants lingerie store to be fitted correctly, and then I bought them online cheaper at freshpair.com
