I stick to the active side, indoor rock climbing, tennis, biking, hiking, etc. I'll do dinner/movies when I'm not feeling creative.
Festivals are always good0 -

Hubby & I taking a couple of our ferrets for a walk in Salem, MA (our favorite city) and seeing the sights.0

An activity is usually mine like playing pool or going to see something new like I visited caves before that was exciting . Movie is not a good first date for me as I only can stay awake during action/movie films. I have fallen asleep in cinemas before (luckily only with friends)...it's embarrassing :P!0

I have to stay away from alcohol on a first date. Going somewhere for coffee and a hike or a walk where you can talk sounds like a good first date to me. Plus, you'd both have coffee breath, so you'd be even. I had a first date at a Halloween field of screams kinda thing once. That was an awesome date!0

Festivals ARE always good!
Things I wouldn't recommend: Hooters or hanging out in your car at a metro station. lol0 -
I like to go out for a walk in the forest, and then find the perfect branch to club her over the head and drag her back to my cave.0

My idea first date is hanging at mine or his place and renting a movie, ordering pizza, maybe having a beer and playing cards.. now I'M boring.. but that's what would make me feel most comfortable I think.
Not to say I wouldn't go anywhere or do anything else.. I love going different places.. but that is just what came to my mind first.0 -

i fall asleep EVERY TIME i go to the movies!!! they put me right out. I just went and saw bourne legacy and was asleep after 15 minutes.
my ideal first date would be a hookah bar. they're so mellow and a good place to talk0 -
I always thought bowling makes for a great first date. It's a conversation starter, when the conversation isn't flowing on its own, and if the convo is good... then it's even more fun! It doesn't even matter if you're a good bowler.0
-
I like anything fun, but can still be able to have a conversation. Bowling is a good one. I don't mind dinner, but then something fun after would be great! I'm always down for a fun time!0

So this explains why you started the "Look Good Naked" challenge!!!! :blushing:
I haven't had a first date in so long (thank the Lord), that I can't even imagine having one. My ideal date involves anything with my husband and NOT our kids.0 -
I like going for a hike, or meeting up for coffee. I had one last weekend and we had coffee and talked for a couple hours, then decided to change scenery and caught a movie.0
-
A pub for dinner and drinks.0

I had a perfect first date with my now boyfriend... we met for dessert at a nice restaurant, then went for a walk around the lake nearby... talked the whole time.0
-
I already had mine: go see a game of my fave b-ball team. Although I told him it was the best date ever, he admitted that he would not be able to top that. I didn't care, I don't think anyone could top that and that is ok fine by me I loved every minute of it.
OR something to top that would be to go see my team in the championship.0 -
Check your local college...they usually have some kind of single night class you can take. I've taken dates out where they teach you some type of cooking technique, you prepare your own meal as a couple then set you up in a quiet corner. Nice environment, something different, usually sets you up pretty good.
They also have some pottery classes also...which to me, is really neat.0 -
The best second date I ever went on (ages ago) was a spur of the moment train ride into NYC. No real plans, walked around, held hands, window shopped, talked for hrs and (of course) ate some yummy food.0
