It's nice and filling and quick
or poached egg on toast?
I like scrambled tofu. Going to have some when I get up and at em.
I don't like cereals, but I do like something hot.
I have gone through a bit of a time of having veggie sausage sandwiches or something. Throw in a bit of raw spinach. Lovely!0 -
*bump*
i need suggestions too. i've been eating the Morning Star Farms breakfast biscuits (not bad), but would like other options as well.0 -
Cereal
Breakfast biscuits
Toast
Fruit and yogurt
Smoothies
Dried fruit and nut mix for when I'm in a rush
To be honest even before I stopped eating meat I don't think I ever ate meat at breakfast!0 -
Maybe not a breakfast options, but these are Gluten, Dairy, and Soy free too Only containing eggs, I thought they may be good for some types of vegetarians out there, and other than that, they're a darned healthy brownie alternative!
1 (15.5 ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained
3 eggs
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1 pinch salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon instant coffee (optional)
1/2 cup milk chocolate chips (optional)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease an 8x8 square baking dish.
Combine the black beans, eggs, oil, cocoa powder, salt, vanilla extract, sugar, and instant coffee in a blender; blend until smooth; pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the top of the mixture.
Bake in the preheated oven until the top is dry and the edges start to pull away from the sides of the pan, about 30 minutes.0 -

1 banana
1 cup berries - can be frozen (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, etc.. whichever you like most)
1/2 cup soy milk
5 ice cubes
combine in blender
AND
1 cup cooked steel cut oats w/ 1/4 cup walnuts0 -
I like these:
- Slice of 12 grain bread (toasted) with natural peanut butter
- Tofu scramble with veggies
- So Delicious coconut 'yogurt' w/ granola & fresh berries
And the best (which I try to keep to weekends but sometimes I can't help myself)
-Smoked tempeh, lightly fried (with canola spray), on a piece of 12 grain bread, topped with tomato, baby spinach and a bit of Daiya mozzarella style shreds0 -
Hello, I'm vegan and the best tip I can give is: tahini. I like to spread tahini (without sugar) on my bread. It has lots of calcium and iron!0

Me too....... I love leftover dinner for breakfast especially cold spicy cabbage
Also, porridge,
soya yoghurt and fruit with omega seeds sprinkled on top,
veg omelette,
scrambled egg,
MIM (low carb muffin made with flax)
toasted fruit bread (altho can't have this at the moment)
Mmm, making me hungry :laugh:0 -
for a 'treat' cooked breakfast I opt for:
potato scones / cakes - grilled
veggie sausage - grilled
Egg - poached or fried
Mushrooms
and sometimes beans.. tell me that ain't a feast! and healthy. lol
Average day though it's porridge oats with skimmed milk and fruit such as banana or blueberries (add a handful of blueberries 15 seconds to the end of microwave time and they go yummy n' soft).
Also I eat a wheat cereal (like shreddies but from Aldi) which is great with milk - don't take sugar on it anymore and it's fine like that.0 -
I'm vegan and these are some of my breakfasts:
- rolled oats w/cinnamon, almond milk and a banana or blueberries
- nature's path organic optimum slim cereal w/almond milk and blueberries
- smoothie made with almond milk, protein powder and fruit
- shake made with almond milk, protein powder, and maybe some powdered peanut butter0
