So I'm making chili and I cooked extra Black, Pinto and Kidney beans. How long will they last refrigerated? Does anyone freeze them once they are cooked?

Cooked beans last a little over a week if stored in air tight container and refrigerator. I have had great success freezing them, as well. It's best to either spread them out on a cookie sheet and freeze them before putting them into a tupperware OR simply freeze in the portion size you'd want. Otherwise you have an entire block of beans0
