:( I have a hard enough time bouncing with a real diet more less a fad
  • I've been doing it for like a week (just the shakes, didn't order everything else until today) and I think it's way easier then meal planning. I'm working all over the valley right now and I can just bring a shaker with me and pour it in and shake when I'm hungry. No trying to find something healthy on the go... and I don't have a way to store food at my current office.

Keeps me full and I don't crash..... I'm on board!
  • I just started my first Isagenix 30 day cleanse after hearing about it through a family member on facebook. I picked it because its the lazy man's diet. I'm always on the go and meal planning is very difficult for me.

Today is shake day one and so far so good! I will be doing my first cleanse days on Sunday and Monday.
  • How far into the 30 days are you?! I'm starting as soon as my products are here (probably monday).... want to keep each other motivated?!
  • I'm on day 2. Tomorrow will be my first ever cleanse day. One great tip someone shared with me.. instead of doing a chocolate or vanilla shake, try 1 scoop of each. Its waaaay better!
  • Ohhh! I'll try it. Let me know how the cleanse goes!!
  • On my second cleanse day today. Yesterday went way better than expected. It was fairly easy to be on a liquid diet all day. And even being out shopping in the heat most of the day, I felt fine. Very very mild headache, but I am very headache prone as it is. Overall good experience. I am feeling so much better already, Isagenix seems to be changing my overall mind set about food.
  • Hey girls, I'm starting another 30 days with Isagenix. You can add me for support.

I'm juice-fasting for my cleanses, however, I wanted to report that I too get headaches on the first day back to my cleanses after the weekends. Yesterday was more painful than last week, however, I had way too much sodium this past weekend vs the previous. I think the headaches have a lot to do with detoxing. By Tuesdays, I'm fine.
  • I am starting my first 30 day Isagenix cleanse within the next few days and trying to determine which day will be the cleanse/fast day any suggestions? have you heard if its better to start during the week or on weekends? Thanks
    Maria
  • From my personal experience, I would recommend cleansing on the days that you have the most free time to rest. Especially for cleanse day two.

Really there's no reason to do it. Your body "cleanses" itself just fine. And using shakes and supplements as "food" will only result in mostly water loss.
Just eat well, meet your macro/micro nutrients and stay in calorie deficit.

I tried it, once you stop you will just gain everything back. It was a huge waste of my money, people try to sell this crap and push push push sales huge. Facebook is where most people hear about it, the girl I bought it from doesn't sell it anymore and gained all of her weight back also.

A shake is not going to replace good eating habits. Weight will come off, but it WILL come back, and more then before.

    I just... no...
  • I agree! It gives you motivation because you see a short term 5-8 pound loss. But it's hard to maintain, shakes get boring. I need to always change things up every 30 days to keep my body on its toes, not get burned out and tweak things through trial and error. I am trying to overcome emotional eating at the moment, so let me know if any of you have any ideas!

What exactly are you supposed to be cleansing?
  • I find it easier to cleanse on a work day. I find that the day goes by quickly and I don't over think the fact that I'm not eating because I'm so busy. The only thing to consider is the fact that our will need to use the bathroom more often because of all the drinking. Best of luck. Let us know how it goes.

I have friends who have tried this with results similar to what others have reported above. A quick moderate weight loss followed by a fairly immediate weight gain. Kind of makes me wonder if this is a long term solution to fat loss. In my humble opinion, if this plan is not sustainable, what's the point in starting in the first place?

  • Isagenix was a total bust. I had more energy... that's about it. I actually ended up gaining weight. I added in extra calories per my "coaches" advice.... still didn't work. Totally bummed.

I took a quick look at your diary and it doesn't appear that you've been logging your food. No matter what type of health goals you have, whether you're a pro bodybuilder or a stay-at-home mom or a student in college, to be successful for any health goals, you have to keep a food and exercise diary. Typically, we either eat way too much in calories or we eat too little; by keeping a diary, we can see where we're lacking, and also change it up so we keep our body guessing.

Isagenix is the best supplement on the market I've found! The fact that you noticed that you had more energy is actually awesome! Most vitamin/mineral/supplements are wasted and it takes a long time to see results.

I recommend that you stick with it, keep close track of your food and exercise on this great site we're using, and join an Isa FB support group! Anyone will gain weight if they don't change their eating habits, and go back to the old habits. Personally, I didn't start using Isa to lose weight; I am using it to regain my health and without even trying, I've lost bodyfat as a great side effect!! Make sure you're eating good, healthy foods, non-GMO, organic, well-balanced meals, and at least half your body weight in ounces of water, every day!

Whatever you do, I wish you the best in your health goals!!! :-)
  • I have been using Isagenix products for almost a year now and love them. The cleanses are good if you want to cleanse. As far as people gaining weight back, it happens to some and not to others. Depends on the person. Most people that do cleanses use them to jump start their weight loss. The shakes replace a meal. Remember that weight loss means a lifestyle change not just a 30 day change!

I eat clean and do 2 IsaPro shakes a day, and Love it. I use alot of the other products as well such as the isagreens and isafruits.

I may be too late, but thought I would respond for your next cleanse. Do you eat the Isadelight chocolates? They helped me during my first cleanse especially, when I felt a headache coming on.
