Any ideas for a quick healthy snack, I feel like I ran out of options.....Something different today other than my usual fruit.

Well, I don't kmow what foods you would like, but I like to snack on nuts, high fiber toast with a little peanut butter, a small piece of cheese, and cereal.
Sometimes I'll use a small serving of leftovers for a snack, too.
I just try to keep it in my calorie range.

I love Fiber One cereal for a snack. It's very slightly sweet, and it is small so it make a good munchy in a cup!

I like the special K crakers (not the tomatoe ones!) the originals are a bit sweet and crunchy, which I need something as and alternative to fruit. They are 90 calories per serving (16 crackers, I think)

I also love animal crackers. they are 120 calories per 16 crackers.

My go to snack items are:

    - Kashi granola bars
    - Rice cake & hummus
    - Tortilla chips & salsa
    - Laughing Cow cheese & Triscuits (I like the thin ones ... 10 crackers for 90 cals ... can't beat that)
    - Popcorn
    - Veggies & hummus
    - Almonds
    - Yogurt
    - Wasa crisps & almond butter
    - Apple peeled and cut up and then sprinkled with cinnamon and heated a bit in the microwave (tastes like dessert)

Thanks, that's a good idea too...I had some leftover grilled chicken breasts that would have been perfect.

If you are at home and have some asparagus...

    10 stalks= 50 calories
    1tsp of EVOO= 60 calories
    pinch of sea salt

turn the oven to 400-425 degrees. add oil and salt to asparagus stalks. Bake for 10 minutes or so.

so delicious and pretty filling for 110 calories.
