I don't have money for clothes.
If I get a nice tax return, I'll usually go shopping for myself.

    When I get paid, I:

Immediately put half of it in savings.

    I spend $200/year on clothes.

We are in the process of really paying off all our debt..so we don't have much left! But oh well, it has to be done! I havent bought any clothes in awhile. I think I will have to soon though. But, I know I don't spend a lot.

sometimes I spent 0$ (literally) on clothes a year, some years its $5k. It all depends on if I need something.

I goto the mall like once or twice a year and most of the times its because I know the shop owners there and they want me to come hangout there

Most of my money is spent on good suits. I like suits. I'm like the Indian version of Barney Stinson

as little as possible. will buy a new dress for a special occasion but work clothes (messy job) and day to day clothes- I thrift or wait for bargains to find me. Probably spend less than $200 on clothes and shoes a year.

I haven't spent more than $100 this year on clothes. I've been shopping in my own closet from all the stuff I had that didn't fit. I did spend $360 on 3 pair of very supportive, read that as ugly, old lady, shoes. I had to have them as all the other shoes I had either were too big or had no support.

I HATE having joint and arthritis problems! Ladies and gents? Lose the weight while you're young. It won't make you avoid all problems but it sure will help. I was stupid and thought I'd be fine forever! Duh.

I'm very impressed with all your answers and thanks for sharing! At the moment I'm not saving as there always seems to be a bill but I would like to start soon. I've also stopped buying clothes as I want to save. As I lose a bit of weight I will have more things in my wardrobe that fit me.
