Keo, it's a Cypriot Lager that my boyfriend introduced me to. Really refreshing =) I can buy it at the supermarket but believe me when I say it tasted 100 times better on tap, in a chilled glass, by the pool in Cyprus when I was there in May hehe =)

    dear oh dear.

I am reading some of these and weeping. Tennents super? really???? Stella???? Heineken????

Don't get me wrong, some of the American craft beers are fine, but give me a good old pint of bitter on a cold night, a decent pint of Tribute, Bass or Spitfire (which I can drink by the bucketload and not get a hangover).

Summertime is for European beers such as Duvel, Erdinger, Budvar, Pilsner Urquell, or a Mild or IPA. or even the occasional Perry or local scrumpy.

I also have a local pub that serves Innis and Gunn on draft (by the half pint only.........). mmmm that's good.

But please, expand your tastebuds. Some of the major players in the beer world produce mass-made boredom. It sells, but also stifles.

Ah, the problem of and all the solutions of life's problems... beer.

My love affair with craft beer is probably directly related to why I'm here and trying to change my lifestyle...

    Favorite Year-Rounds:

    New Glarus Spotted Cow
    Two Brothers Domaine Dupage
    Three Floyds Gumball Head
    Avery White Rascal

    Special/Seasonal beers:
    Goose Island Bourbon County Stout
    Founders Kentucky Breakfast Stout
    Founders Backwoods *kitten*
    Two Brothers Northwind Stout
    Two Brothers Monarch

I'll just stop right there as i will embarrass myself with my ode to beer...

Harpoon IPA and I love the seasonal beers, especially pumpkin beers. I buy different beers every time I go to the store so I am always trying new ones.
