Every time I'm in Des Moines I keep wanting to take a picture of the billboard for "JPScrap.com" - although I guess JP's Crap would also be appropriate for a scrapyard.

    Nowhere, Oklahoma << for real.

So you really could live in the middle of nowhere. That is awesome.

Yes, and let me tell you it is dirt blowing in the wind! I'm sure the post office is out of someone's house and there might be 1 grocery store... maybe.

There's a Lickinghole Road in Goochland, VA. Change that "G" to a "C" and it would be awesome.

a friend had a foreign exchange student from Spain living with her and he couldn't stop laughing at the restaurant Chi-Chi's cause that's Spanish slang for tits

That's pretty mild compared to the restaurants 'Pinches Tacos'--translated from Spanish to English is 'F*cking Tacos'

My husband is from Two Buttes CO. it's about 20 minutes from the Kansas border and about an hour from Oklahoma so It's really flat, but there is "the mountain" it's just a Really! big hill with two buttes lol. The best part is his last name is Ausmus, said Oz-mus, so they would get phone calls asking for Mr. Assmus from Two butts. They just said "no one here by that name, sorry" lol

In Newfoundland, Canada, there is a town called *kitten*. There's been a ruckus trying to get them to change it but they refuse!

    Cocksbarrow
    Cockwells
    Crap Stone
    Diddies
    Flushing
    Goonbell
    Grandma's Gusset
    Grumbla
    Hugus
    Praze-an-beetle

Oh yes and my favourite names from the business world in the UK are the hair dressers...hell of a sense of honour!

There is Heir Kutz and Curl up and Dye!

Can't pass up Master Bait and Tackle in Bonita Springs but I contend they should get a liquor license and change the name to Master Bait and Liquior.

Then there is Big Bone Lick State Park in Kentucky.

That's because it's names after a place is England and that's how it's pronounced there. Like Worcester is "wooster." There are tons of them in New England.
