I'm 5 10. iN HEELS, 6' 2:) I'm the tallest girl in my family. I have 3 sisters, they all are short. Our mom was 4'11. Don't know how that happened but both sets of my grandparents were over 6 feet. My youngest daughter is 6 and she's already 3'11. She's going to be tall.

Oh my gosh! I'm not a tall woman (5'6" when I stand up straight... I'm a sloucher LOL), but my son is much like this poster's daughter. My boy just turned 7 and he is 4' 5" tall. Dunno what I'm going to do when he's taller than me next year!0 -
i'm 5'11"and have been at this for exactly a year now... pretty solid progress so far -- definitely check out the TTW (totally tall women) of MFP group. lots of support there. but i'm accepting new friends... make sure to attach a note explaining how awesome you are cuz i'm awesome too! lol0

5'10 here! And i'm very hourglass shaped. It takes about a 15-20lb loss for me to go down a size. I'm currently about 198 with a current goal of 170. I've been on MFP for a month or so...Feel free to add me!!0

I am 6'1 or 6'2 (depends who's measuring!)... I have been this height since about 8th grade! My husband is 6'4 and we have 4 year old boy/girl twins... my son is already 3 and a half feet tall! My daughter is smaller but I foresee a growth spurt on her horizon as well...!
Tall chicks rule!!!
There are some great tall women groups on here, ya'll should sign up!!!0 -

I've never really felt short before I'm 5'9" ... the beast, by far, out of my friends and family. Needless to say, I don't wear heels much ... the dudes at work have a complex when I do! any of you tall ladies feel free to friend me!0
-

I use to work in an office where I towered over most of the other women...it can give you a complex sometimes, but I love being tall.0 -

-
5'11" here...with legs a mile long.0

5'10 1/4" here! Hubby is 5'7" ish! lol we make an interesting looking pair. I'm currently 166 and i'd like to get down to 155 if that's realistic. At my heaviest I was 216. It's nice that being tall, you hide your weight well--problem is that it takes losing 15-20lbs for me to go down even 1 size, especially since I carry it all in my chest and hips. My legs, arms, shoulders, waist and ribs have thinned out dramatically, but I'm still a 12 in pants and a large in tops because my boobs and hips just won't shrink! oh well!0
-
I'm a little over 5'9 and trying to lose about 15 pounds to get to a healthy weight more my height. Always looking for more friends so anyone can feel free to add me0
-
5'10" here! I can live with slightly shorter pants (I usually look for ones with enough hem to let them down anyways) but it's finding shirts that are long enough that pisses me off.
My heaviest (pre-MFP) was in the 200-205 range and I'd like to forget about it and get down to a healthy weight.0 -
5'11'' over here!
Very hard to find pants long enough and how do you not feel like and Amazon in heels?? LOL0 -
I found this topic amusing... for the same reasons someone mentioned back on the first page. I don't get why there are five million "5'4" GIRLS WHERE YOU AT?!?!?!" topics when the average height for women is around that. 5'4" women are everywhere, that's where they're at. =__=;;
That said, I'm 5'3" myself so I have no business being here. Just wanted to say that because I thought it was amusing, and finally someone makes a topic about height that actually kind of makes more sense to me (being that you all are harder to find and could probably use the support). Hahaha.0 -
