question about calorie input

it says that an hour of leisurely walking is 357 calories. i dont see how this is plausible i only walked to the grocery store, picked out my items, then walked back home. can someone explain this to me???

The calories burned are over-estimated on MFP. Onl;y way you could truly tell would be with a HRM, that's why a lot of people say to only eat back half your exercise calories.
I wouldn't count a normal activity like that as exercise in any case unless you've set your activity level to sedentary.0 -

ok i dont have a job right now so it is set to sedentary . . lol i work out during the day while im waiting to start training to be a bus driver lol so i guess it will stay at sedentary0

and i didnt know about the eating only half back of ur calories burned0
