I don't use or like artificial sweeteners. But am always intrigued by new ones or the latest developments. I was reading this am of a monk fruit sweetener as an alternative to stevia. Has anyone tried this? Looks like they sell it as nectresse. I havent read the product box yet but wonder what it's like.

I use mainly Erythritol and Lo han gou (Monk Fruit) as my sweeteners and prefer them over Stevia and the others. Nectresse has Erthritol, Sugar, Lo Han Gou and Molasses as its ingredients - so in all its a good combination for a low calorie sweetener.

I haven't tried it but I have sent off for a free sample and printed a $2 coupon at the Nectresse website.

No comparison for me. Hated the Stevia aftertaste, Nectresse is best sweetener I've ever tried with no aftertaste. I like it better than sugar.

Well... It's not for everyone I guess. But If you have to use sugar, I would SRTONGLY suggest using only ORGANIC unbleached or preferably RAW sugar.
