New to MFP

Hello! I'm newer to MFP and just wanted to wish everyone luck with their own personal goals. I am working to lose the baby weight from my son, who is now 7 weeks old. I started using MFP because I have always been borderline anorexic and have been trying to make a conscious effort to lose this weight in a healthy way and be a better example for my daughter. It is difficult, because I am used to seeing instant results from a lack of eating, and the healthy way is a slow and steady process. But being able to see how many calories I need to take it based on what I am burning is helpful for me to keep on the right path. Anyways, I am also a runner, but did not run during my pregnancy so getting back into it has also been hard. But we have to keep trucking, right?! Just thought I would say hello.

Welcome to MFP. I have been through the no eating, purging and laxative times myself. I am now the mother of a 5 year old and 2 year old boys. It seems to be harder for me to lose weight now that I am 30, and have no time to work out, but this site has really helped me to stay in check and make good choices and not fall back on bad habits. I want to be around for my kids, so I want to be healthy and happy.0
