I went on Saturday for Goodwill's 50% off day. I got 3 sweaters, 4 shirts, 2 pairs of jeans and a jacket for under $40. They were all Gap, Anne Taylor, Eddie Bauer, New York & Co, Levis, Chico's, and so on. It was a happy day!0

Saw a flier at GW today that said they're doing 50% off again this weekend for the holiday!!
The majority of my clothes come from the thrift store.0 -
I love thrift store shopping! I go at least once a week every week. I am a teacher so I find stuff for my classroom, as well as clothes for dressing up for work. I have also started planning out my wedding and I have even found some awesome deals on things for the wedding. Ex. incluse vases for my center peices and a flower girl basket0

i love shopping at the s&a boutiques ( salvation army) and good will stores. the money you spend is going to a good cause and less expensive to replace pants when losing weight0

That's one of the things I'm most excited about when I hit my goal weight!! They always have the cutest skinny clothes! The fat clothes at the thrift stores look like they either came out of 1982 or my grandma would wear them. Lol.0

Love thrift stores - such as Goodwill!
Sometimes you find a lot of what you like and fit .... sometimes you don't.....0 -
I love Thrift stores. Our nearest Goodwill is walking distance away. Almost every time I go there I find good deals especially on their books.0

I ADORE thrift stores, except for Salvation Army, since they use their funding to donate to anti-gay organizations. It can be difficult to find plus size clothing in good shape at thrift stores, but the searching pays off!0

LOVE! Whenever I go on vacation, I have to scout out the thrift stores for great finds. I typically just shop housewares though.0

I found a couple of stores that sell gently used second hand name brand clothing and accessories- LOVE IT! Best place to get "interim" clothing! Plus I like the idea of recycling Spending 1/4 of the $ is a plus too.... And you find some really great vintage and non traditional stuff... really cool.0

Am I the only one that loves this. I my local Salvation Army and their 1/2 price Wednesdays!!!
Today I got (for me) 4 skirts, 6 shirts (4 of them dressy shirts), 2 Capris (1 a dress pair) and a pair of jeans for my son!! Almost all of what I got was from dressy shops like B.Moss, Limited, and such. Great haul today. I paid just shy of $30.00!!!!!
I LOVE charity shops! My favourite pair of jeans came from there - originally from Next - and they fit like a dream. Only cost me £4.99! There's a big BHF (British Heart Foundation) store near us so I'm going to get some new bedsheets when I have some more money.0 -
Awesome bargain! I LOVE thrift store shopping and have passed that on to my kids. Just recently was asked by my 15 yo boy to take him for some t-shirts. We cut off the sleeves and he uses them for working out. Can't go wrong when you can find them for .50 cents per shirt.
And then I get to look for me while I'm there. Win-win.0
