Keep up the good work... Stay strong. Good things you can have at dinner are things like any kind of steamed veggie, rice(even flavored rices). Turkey is good, ground or breasts.. either one. Eat lots of salad, great for you. As for the sweets, just eat it in moderation. If you feel like it isn't something you really want, just say no and find something else to snack on in its place. Just keep up the will power.
The stronger you are the easier it gets. I have only had sweets a couple of times since I have been serious about losing wieght. I have lost 15 lbs in 2 months. It will work, just give it time, be patient.
  • Hi,
I've just joined as well....its all a big challenge. I have cut out the fatty treats like chocolate and keep to sweets. Sweet have little or no fat but high sugars and calories. If you're going to the gym then the sugars will burn up as energy.

Try picking up a few recipie books, the Good Food magazine produces these cute little books you can buy off Amazon and tells you excatly what's in them nutrition wise. There's something for everyone in those books!

There's no harm in eating chocolate, as a treat once you've earnt it, remember any diet that says 'you need to cut out all carbs' blah blah blah is pointless. You can't avoid them forever! Just make sensible choices and remember little things like protein feels you up and a bit of sugar gives you a nice short buzz if you need it. Giving yourself a treat every now and then stops you from falling off the wagon and binge eating later.

I'm also from the UK, 22, and I'm looking to drop nearly half my body weight really xD feel free to add if you want.

    Good luck!
