me: I don't know if I want to buy "starting strength" or "New rules of Lifting for Women"

he: STOP lifting weights

me: Why, I can't? I like it.

he: I don't want you to get all jacked

me: you realize a woman can lift weights and not get "all jacked" right?

he: lies

me: I'll be able to deadlift you soon

he: do not want!

--How to people still have these misconceptions about women lifting? It's irritating!

He's awesome and supportive of just about everything. It comes to this, and he's scared to death.

    Have him read this:

    http://www.womenshealthmag.com/fitness/weight-exercises-women

It was written by a MAN so he knows what he's talking about plus it was written for WOMEN so it will use small words and pictures to get the point across.

Damn it... now where did I put that helmet?

Everyone is ignorant one something, and about everything at some point in time.

A lot of people have the misconception that the only thing standing between a woman and the strapping bodybuilding women is a few weeks at the gym.

Don't you have a dish to wash or a shirt to iron somewhere?

(Psst...I believe this would be an appropriate time for a "sandwich" comment.)
