Thinking about going wheat free

Hi ya'll!

If you're wheat free (and its NOT because you have a gluten intolerance, or some other medical reason) could you tell me why, if it has helped you lose weight or feel better and what your macros are? I realize that some people may think its just a fad diet but nothing I've been doing for the past 6 months has really done a whole lot for me as far as weight loss, so I'm just reevaluating my diet to see if switching things up may help

I'm wheat free and LOVE it. I'm doing it to help aid in getting my internal inflammation down, but diet wise it was a great choice as well. I'm less bloated, have more energy, less headaches, I sleep better and just overall feel much better, plus the pounds fall off easier. There's just no reason NOT to do it!

I'm wheat free and love it. I have had a great time researching new recipes using almond, soy, amaranth, coconut and other nut meal flours. I can make cupcakes, sweet breads, biscuts and other great breads using these flours. I notice I am not bloated anymore. I also notice that the weight is practically falling off. My headaches are gone and I don't feel sluggish an hour later after eating a sandwich with wheat bread. Then again, I cut sugar out of my diet too and only eat Stevia, honey and Xylitol. I eat quinoa instead of rice as well.

I just started and I'm on day 3. I've lost 2.5 lbs so far. :). Im doing it to get over my plateau and maintain. I know I need to lower my carbs and losing the wheat helps a lot for me! This is far less restricting then Adkins. I love it....although hard to give up beer. :). Also, I plan on not doing any gluten free processed stuff. I need to stay away from that to be successful.
