My sister loves the book, I haven't read it though. She quotes from it constantly.

No I read this and tried to change the family eating habits to vegan Lasted 5 months, was not a very pleasant experience. My insides did not fair well (bloating, gas etc) so then I tried raw fruitarian and my weight ballooned up 20 pounds. Awful

hmmmm... sounds like a good book. I loved "Naturally Thin" by Bethany Frankel. My favorite quote I say from it all the time "You can eat what ever you want but just not all at once". Awesome book.

Also an internet e-book for purchase (it's a pdf file). "The Anythiing Goes Diet" by John Barban. It is a life changer.
  • This is a great resource: http://fatfreevegan.com/blog/2010/01/01/eat-to-live-6-week-plan/

The person who runs the blog and the site is not affiliated with the book, and the 1,000+ comments on the post might help you figure out if it's for you or not.

It promotes a vegan diet... based on the China Study...I believe the deductions made based on the study are flawed. That being said I read the book and did like it but I am a wannabe nutritionist and read lots of books... People on this diet have had great success but they have also come from very poor eating habits.
