Sure deters me from ever becoming overweight.
Good motivation for those who are.
It did make me feel a little queazy, admittedly.

I use this visual with my clients...you'd be amazed at how much denial I hear from them until I show this picture. Bones do get repositioned into their proper placement. That is why weight loss results in lowered arthritis pain, joint issues, and diseases. Thanks for the reminder of why I am doing this!

I know I was under some serious denial and perhaps still am under some denial. Since I started working out and eating better my quality of life have improved tremendously after just losing 19 lbs out of the 100 I need to lose. Thats 19% of extra fat gone and I feel like I am a teenager again.

Like I said, a fairly disturbing image but sometimes it takes harsh reality to get us moving

    Wow.

That image is hard to look at, but NEEDED .... especially for those of us who were in denial for so long.

    Thanks for posting.

Huh. It's also interesting how the muscles look pretty much the same size. Almost all the extra volume in the 250-lbs person seems to be fat.

Yeah, that sucks, I was hoping I had more muscle under all this fat from toting it around for three or four years. Instead, the muscle looks sort of distorted and lumpy compared to the skinny pic, but not bigger.

Yup, was scared of putting it up on account of it being too graphic but I think most of us could use some reality check once in a while

IS this a before and after shot ? The fat around the heart is very sad.

I was thinking this too. :(

So I read that article, and now I'm scared to just even buy produce!!! It's true, farmer's markets or organic are the way to go.
