I just renewed my license a few weeks ago, I told them my actual weight, very proud of the fact that I've lost, she asked me what my goal weight was and entered that instead lol.

Now THAT was very cool of her!

Mine expires on my birthday 9/30. I have to get it renewed before then.
Today, I am -20 pounds from what my license says. I am a liar.......it was way under what I weighed 4 years ago.

We don't have weight anymore in VA. But I think they still ask you about it, pretty sure I said 250 last time they asked, so I would be 15 lbs less now.
  • I dont have a weight listed on my DL either and I didn't know that some states required it!! From reading the posts on here, this is a list of the states that DON'T have a requirement. Feel free to add to it! I'm curious myself actually. Is the weight thing a county law or a state law? It sounds like in some states, it is a county thing (like VA). I don't know about about the rest of NC, but my county doesn't require it. We only have sex, height, eyes, hair, and race.

    North Carolina
    Pennsylvania
    Kentucky
    Iowa
    New York
    New Jersey
    Parts of Virginia
    Texas
    Florida

Any others that I'm missing? :)

Mine is 22 lbs too lite currently. With that said, I've just recently lost 32 lbs. But even more is that I've not been that weight, at least by 30 lbs for years. This is one of the things I'll be glad to get replaced. Have promised myself that will be done by next year. I'm almost 1/3 way there after just 3 months.

Mine as the weight of 160...

    I haven't been 160 in years. XD

I will get there soon though.

Right now, I am about 207.
  • I haven't had my picture or any information updated since I got my learners permit when I was 15 years old... when I've needed a renewal I just requested one be sent to me because I didn't want to have to take a new, fatter picture and give them a new, higher weight...

I remember that I had lied by 15 pounds because I wanted to lose 15 pounds, but ended up gaining much, much more instead...

Right now I'm 55 pounds higher than what it says on the license... so I'm about 40 pounds more than what I actually weighed at the time...

My weight on my license was about 10 pounds low when I put it on there, but that weight is now 83 pounds heavier than I really am :). I hate to get a new ID before mine expires, but I may have to before much longer!

I'm 60 lbs less than what it says on my DL

    Huge difference!! haha

Why do you have a Driving License weight? We don't in Australia. Kinda pointless...

To match your license to the person driving...make sure it is YOU! and for Bars too I assume, or any place that ID's you.

My weight isn't on my driver's license, but I just renewed by mail and they asked (why I don't know). I told them 40 lbs less than I am now and the weight I gave them is actually 15 more than the weight I was in the picture (it was taken 4 years ago)

I saw someone posted "to actually weigh what my driver's license says I weigh". I thought that was a cool goal to aim for until I then realized that as of 2 weeks ago I actually weigh 3lbs less than it says on my license! At my high point I was 45lbs more than it said :(

Mine doesn't have my weight on it, but my height is wrong.
  • Baha, my DL weight is still from when I was 16 yrs old at 145 lbs. Until a few months ago I was up to 200.

I had to get fingerprinted for school, and the cop looked at me and said "145 lbs? Don't think so."

In Minnesota, we have to go in to the DMV every 4 years and have our eyes tested and photo taken for our license renewal, oh, and of course pay a fee for it.

61 pounds less. And thanks for reminding me that I need to get my DL renewed this month! At the time I got my last DL, I put the correct weight on it...all 250 pounds of it. Then in the next 3 years I gained 40 more pounds, hence why I am now on mfp and changing my life. I havent weighed my current weight of 189 in decades.

I'm in Massachusetts, so I don't have to list weight, but just from the picture on my license alone, I have gotten double takes, since it was taken when I was at my highest weight of 276, and I've lost nearly 100 pounds now lol...I don't think I would have lied if I had to list it, though.
  • I'm 318 but my DL has 280

Mine is actually accurate (at the moment at least LOL). I think I lied when I got it by 10 lbs though.

Last time I got my license renewed I left it at the same weight as before, 250 pounds, even though I was about 25 pounds heavier than that at the time. I now weigh 210, so 40 pounds less than what my license says. I have to get it renewed by the end of November, and I hope to lose at least eleven more pounds by then so I can honestly list my weight on my license as a number that starts with one!

I said I was 20 lbs less than I was on my license application. The lady at the DMV had the nerve to ask me if it was my ideal weight. Since I needed her more than she needed me I let it slide, but I looked her dead in her face and said no. The look on my face said "I dare you to ask me to change it" and that's how I ended up with a weight 20 lbs less than my true weight on my license. lol

So far from the posts, I've gathered that these are the ones that don't require weight:

    North Carolina
    Pennsylvania
    Kentucky
    Iowa
    New York
    New Jersey
    Virginia
    Texas
    Florida

    and now Michigan. :)
