Liars! Driving license weight?
Replies
-
So, I have to go get my license renewed. I have steadily been losing weight since March. I don't really want to be stuck with the weight I currently am on license for the next few years. What to do?0

So what states have weights on DL and which ones dont? I am from michigan and mine doesnt have weight on it...
So far from the posts, I've gathered that these are the ones that don't require weight:
North Carolina
Pennsylvania
Kentucky
Iowa
New York
New Jersey
Virginia
Texas
Florida
and now Michigan.
Massachusetts does not require weight, either.0 -
Currently 28 pounds over the dl weight but at the time it was accurate. State issued proof that i can reach my goal! LOL0
-
So I am totally guilty when I was 200 plus my license said 165....It now says 145 and on a good day this is not a lie!!!!!!0
-
I am 5 lbs heavier now than my DL weight, but I think that is muscle weight as I am more muscular than when I last got my license.
Ok I feel better that I'm not the only one who's really close. I'm roughly three pounds over.0 -
When I got my license, the weight I put was only 3 or 4 pounds less than what I actually was, and now I'm about 9 pounds more than what I put...yikes :noway: (my current goal is to get back down to that weight!)0
-
Kentucky no weight on ours0
-
I was 52lbs heavier @ one point but now I'm only +6.4lbs :happy:0
-
Mine used to be 30 pounds under when I weighed 190 and got my license.
I just had it updated and I rounded it down to the nearest ten spot, being 130. It's only off by like 3 pounds so does that count as a lie?? lol0 -
I'm 6.8lbs more than my drivers license says now, was much more. & I'm .75in taller0
-
Mine says 150lbs. :noway: I'm actually 185lbs right now.
I hadn't weighed myself in school and I got my license when I was seventeen - so in my mind, I figured, eh, same weight as when I was fourteen. Wrong! I haven't bothered to change it but it's such a lie.0 -
I just got a new license not long ago so mine is accurate. :-)0

I remember when I was pregnant and had to renew my license the worker guy at the dmv asked my weight, not wanting to say my pregnancy weight I and have it stuck on my license for the next 4 years I said 125 (my prepreggo weight) he looked up at me and said "you know there's no need to lie, now what's your weight" mortified I said loudly "I'm 6 months pregnant you *kitten*! I need to talk to your manager!!". I felt like crying, looking back I think it's a little funny though but that guy had some nerve.0

It seems very silly to NOT include weight on a driver's license, as it is used for identification purposes and a small cropped photo of someone's face really fails to illustrate the entire identification - height is necessary, it only makes sense to include weight to properly illustrate someone's body type/stature. For example, it's like those Myspace angle pictures where a heavier woman takes a very misleading picture of their face, that doesn't portray their body type and their full semblance. If you are asked to identify a burglar and you have a thin man and a very heavyset man who have similar facial features, don't you think stature would assist you in the identification?
I live in Illinois - at the time I had fibbed and said I was 10 pounds lighter, but now I actually -am- the weight on my driver's license.
The hard question for me is always "hair color", having golden brown-auburn hair. :ohwell:0 -
47lbs lighter then mine.... Yikes0
-
Had to look to answer truthfully I weigh 10 pounds more...0

We don't have weight on our drivers licence but my height is wrong. I am 159.5cm not 158cm.
I was 158cm at the age of 16.
I guess i grew a little.0 -
I am from the south, they know better than to ask us to put our weight on our DLs lol0
-
Ten pounds less0
-
I'm getting closer! 155 is my DL weight, and I'm 167 and change right now. You better believe when I hit goal I'm trucking into the DMV for a new photo. I might even go nuts and wear makeup.0
-
Pulled mine out to look, all it has is my height sex and eye color lol Texas DL
I just realized the DMV gave me an extra inch in height. I'm 4'11" they say 5' even woohoo!!0 -
Major NSV for me was being asked for a second form of ID at the airport since my license photo was taken 90 pounds heavier than I am now. That was a great day0
-
It's not required in NJ! ;-P0
