http://www.jacamo.co.uk/shop/nordic-air-walker/qz319/product/details/show.action?pdBoUid=6778#colour:,size: it is called a Nordic trainer but I think it is the same as a cross trainer? It says it will tone everywhere apart from my tummy though? Is this true? It looks good as I can have it in the flat and fold it up and put it in the cupboard!! Do u think it will help me burn calories fast? Also tone up good.
Thanks!!

If you are looking to tone up real quick, I recommend Jillian Michaels workouts. I am currently on Week 4 of Ripped in 30 (will start today) and it is 4 weeks long with 4 different workouts (each workout is done for 5-6 days according to the week in the Title of the workout ~ for instance, Week 1 workout is done 5-6 days during week 1, Week 2 workout is done 5-6 days during the 2nd week, and so on). The workout itself is only about 20 minutes. I don't know where you are, but I bought it here in North Carolina for $10 at Walmart. All you need is a pair of hand weights and an exercise mat if you are exercising on a hard surface. The results have been wonderful for me! My jeans were semi-tight on me 3 weeks ago, and now they are falling off! I have to loop my belt a whole notch tighter too! I don't know how much I have lost this week, but I lost 3.5 lbs the first 2 weeks (halfway through), and 4.2 inches (mainly in my stomach!). I believe that people did the 30 Day Shred first, and then did Ripped in 30. You can see many before and afters here and online. It is well worth the money spent, as opposed to spending so much money on a machine that may or may not produce fast results. At least 30DS and RI30 have amazing results!! I highly recommend you check out all of the before and after pictures of this workout. Many people only lost a few pounds, but their bodies transformed into smoking hot bikini bodies!!! I'm even excited to do another month of Jillian Michaels because of their, and my, success!
If you must get equipment, though, I recommend the Bowflex Treadclimber, or just the Bowflex. They give great results in just 6 weeks.

It is very similar to the Gazelle that I have, I lost weight on it before and it did tone up my legs and arms some but not enough. It is very good if you have bad knees or back as it is very low impact. As my first piece of equipment it was not bad, it was enough to keep me moving and depending on how hard or fast I worked it did get my heart rate up for some cardio benefits.0

If it's a piece of cardio equipment, it's not going to help you "tone" anything.
In order to "tone" you need to lift weights.. and heavy ones at that.0 -

Plus, it looks about as interesting as algebra. If you get bored of DVDs, why would that be any different?0
