thanks for all the advice! I actually feel really good today except for my back so I am going to go to the gym and see if I can get a mile walking in. I just logged my lunch and holy soldium! Todays lunch was one I used to eat probably 5 days a week on WW. Guess I won't be doing that anymore! I am going to eat "normal" for a week to get a baseline and go from there. I also am going to double check myself with the scale at the gym. I usually weigh myself on that weekly but it does always show higher than when I weigh myself at home by about 5 or 6 lbs.

You might do well to pretend that McDonald's doesn't exist.

LOL no doubt! However, I know you can eat that food adn still lose weight. When I lost 50+ in 2005/6 I worked there. I ate there at least breakfast every day and lunch at least 4 times. It was the choices I made. Scrambled egg and 1 mcgriddle cake for breakfast. Bacon Ranch salad, no chicken, with balsamic vinegrette dressing. Sometimes a fruit and yogurt parfait. However, I am not making those same choices so staying away is a good idea.

You can lose weight eating Twinkies. (Google it, if you like.) But it's not a healthy way to live. If you're here just for weight loss and don't mind eating very little, McDonald's is fine. If you want to be healthy, eating foods that were prepared in healthy ways is important.

Try changing the battery of your scale.

Also, I know next to nothing about fibrmyalgia, but a quick Internet search found that although some reputable medical sites say there hasn't been much/enough research yet, many patients report finding a relationship between what they eat and their symptoms. Here are a few:

Note what they say about soda and caffeine. And if you want to start trying to drink more water, I've collected a bunch of suggestions for doing that at http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/Robin_Bin/view/water-265761
    Good luck!

Ahhh! We understand your dilemma and something similar happened too me last week. My husband had bought me a weight watchers scale last week. I stepped on and it said 165. About a week after I stepped on and it said 160. I had lost 5 pounds! I wanted to jump for joy I tell you....the next morning I had a doctors appointment and was excited for them to take my weight because I had dropped a few pounds.....So I stepped on the scale and it said 165, what it had said before. I was so freaking pissy all day and kinda still bothered by it. I'm not too sure what the hell is going on but I know I'm dropping something because the scale's number is continuing to drop.....
