do i need some type of an app or extension or something
to make the page big enough to read the words?

decreasing the screen resolution didn't really work that well,
    and
increasing font size makes the words overlap each other..............

maybe i need some app for firefox??

OR DOES FIREFOX HAVE SOME TOOL somewhere, to make a page bigger, (like chrome had)
that i just haven't found yet??????

does your shockwave or flash crash a lot?
freeze up and stuff?? does your computer kind of 'hiccup' or skip just a bit during videos or songs?

I use chrome but I use Firefox too. I used to use Firefox all the time but then I switched now I am thinking of switching back. Shockwave crashes way too much and when I am looking for a page I have been too it doesn't show up when I type it in the address bar. I also don't like how every time I close chrome and restart it, it tells me that it didn't shut down properly. How am I supposed to cut chrome off properly other than by hitting the X in the corner? (sigh)

    Chrome.

Gave up on Firefox about a year ago. I couldn't deal with how much of a memory hog it was becoming.

    THANKS FOR INFO.

    To anyone using chrome,
but suffering those freeze-ups or shockwave crashes,
i found a way to fix that, and am SOoo stoked that *I* (who is NOT good at computers)
fixed it myself! was not hard.

    see, the problem is,
that google Chrome has a built in form of shockwave,
which conflicts with the 'real' forms of shockwave:grumble: , which are used in flashing ads, youtube, music, etc.

so all we have to do, is 'disable' one of the shockwave flash files. I thought it sounded hard,
and almost shutdown my brain picturing myself disabling one file in chrome,
    i figured i'd wreck it,
but, it wasn't hard to do at all,
and now my computer is running GREAT!! YAY!!:drinker:

    HERE'S HOW TO FIX CHROME
    :drinker:

Chrome is the BEST! Firefox is second best, but it's too slow. And it's just not as smooth. Chrome is smooth and modern. And fast! Love it!!
