What to eat when sick?

So for the last few days I've been pretty sick with a nasty cold and it was really hard to stay on track diet wise. I didn't feel like making much and a lot of foods either tasted funky or hurt my throat. I still managed to stay around my calorie count but I sure didn't eat healthy. I just started a couple weeks ago so I'm still working on coming up with some quick, easy and healthy foods and would like to be better able to cope if I get sick again. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I'm a big fan of the BRAT diet when not feeling good. Bananas, Rice, Applesauce, and Toast.

For me the answer is usually toast. And thinly sliced apple usually seems to go down and stay down OK.
Better still, homemade chicken soup - I'm sure I've read a study that said it's as good as antibiotics.
  • When ever you sick. Eat very carefully and less. Eat things those are full of vitamin's and easy to eat.
Like eat more fruit, juice and green salad. All are very good.

Toast and soup are your best friends when you're sick, easy on the tummy and not the worst.
