    Pedal and do strength training along with it.

    It all depends on the type of bike, your fitness levels and a million other things ..

    or just pedal

    ok so here is what I do at gym it burns great cal and makes you feel wonderful :smile:

    I warm up on level 2/ 3 for 2-3 minutes

    Push the level up to 6/7 for the next 15 minutes, while doing this I do spikes of 40 - 60 seconds of level 8-10

    Cool down on level 2/3 for 2-3 minutes,

    2 mins easy pedalling, 2 mins harder than comfort, repeat, for 25-30 mins

    try working your arms along with your legs. do some exercises with hand weights while you bike, biking alone and strength training alone tend to not burn as many calories because they aren't high impact, so combining the two gets your heart rate higher and increases your calorie burn. Or so Jillian Michaels tells me every morning with the 30 day shred.
