Newbie needing major inspiration to continue to crossfit.

I have a fabulous new roommate with a painfully unfabulous hobby: working out. He's offered to use me as a guinea pig to better learn how to train sedentary computer blobs HIIT and crossfit.

Had my first workout tonight, and I'm just proud I didn't die.

Please advise me, oh hardbodied geeks!

  • I am celebrating my one year Crossfit anniversary this month - I absolutely love it. I haven't lost as much weight as I would have like to, but I cannot believe the muscle my body has packed on, as well as the flexibility. It really has made everyday movements so much easier. I saw my family last week for the first time in 5 months and they thought I had dropped 75 pounds just because of the muscle gain and toning. Stick with it - you'll be glad you did!
  • Stick with it! its hard but its so worth it! There is nothing like the feeling of completing a WOD better than your previous effort!
