I've been looking for a kinda dressy shirt but I have a 44" chest (wont be dropping) and at the moment 33-34 " waist and dropping.. and 15.5 arms and im 5'5" so cant go to a bigger shirt than a medium because arms are to long or they go to my knees. :)

SO I've gone to all the shops and tried basically all the brands cheap to sev hundred dollars and nothing. buttons popping or way to big in the waist or arms dont even fit in the damn holes.

Anyone have any luck with any brand?? any info would be appreciated.

Ive tried all the slim fit, customs, athletic fits etc.

list of stores macy's nordrstrom dillards

I really dont want to have to buy a shirt then have to pay again 15-25 ea to have altered if i can avoid it.

#1 - If you are that worried about it being long/arms long get one custom made or tailored.
#2 - If your waist is dropping your chest will too
#3 - If you are buying a "kinda dressy" shirt you left out the most important measurement.....the only one that really matters....neck size. You buy shirts based on neck size and sleeve length.
#4 - I would try Polo custom fit if you want something off the rack. They seem to be more fitted through the body

I have to get my dress shirts tailored if I want them to fit. 44" chest, 17" neck, 33" waist. If I buy them big enough to button the neck for a tie then they are huge everywhere else - even the athletic "slim" cut ones. I sometimes buy the smaller neck ones knowing I will never wear a tie with them. Suits are worse!

    neck 15" is size.

yea tried polo custom and same button was popping and the pleat in the back was stretched.

most of my remaining weight is in my torso.. that's why i said that. i used to be 47" chest with 29-30 waist.. at 135lbs.. with 16.5 neck and 17" arms, back then didnt worry about shirts other than like t shirts so not that big of a deal.

but yea i know tailor made is an option but didnt know if another company was actually producing something i could kinda buy off the shelf.. i did get a website that seems to cater towards my build so goin to contact them see if can help.
