    Born, raised, currently living and will probably die in Sunderland on the North East coast of England :laugh: Language spoken is English with a Mackem accent , although I can still remember a bit of French from my school days

    Would love to live abroad somewhere though, hubby currently thinking of going on secondment to Richmond, Virginia

    I was born and raised in Missouri. I miss my state. I only speak English.
    we lived there for a few years, we loved it there! such a pretty state, and the people are uber nice.

    I was born and raised in Florida. We are a rare breed (a lot of people are transplants here, mostly Northerners).

    In my particular area, the native language is Ghetto Redneck. I, myself, prefer proper English. But there are many different places where the primary language used is Spanish. Take Miami, for instance. :laugh:

    It's perfect because I looked it up in my book, shame on me :laugh:

    We always had a good laugh about the phrase "Hvor gammel er du?" (How old are you), because "gammel[ig]" in German means something like rotten/scruffy.
