Hello, want to share as not got any friends on here and don't discuss this with my friends as I think it might bore them! But so pleased today I really want to share.

I have not been dieting BUT embracing a healthy lifestyle, as I want it to be permanent not just another fad diet. I do Pilates, Zumba, body conditioning and toning classes as well as 2-3 weight and cardio sessions a week. I play football and go for walks with my hubby as much as possible and I eat as clean as possible and juice twice a day. I have lost 10lbs in two months woo

BUT today in a Zumba class I realised I no longer look out of shape and actually looking toned with a flat tummy! I always totally avoid looking at anything but my feet in the mirror as was not happy with the rest I saw but today I was super happy with what I saw and feel like this new lifestyle is really paying off on my physique.

Wooo!

What a nice NSV, it's good when stuff like that sneaks up on you. I didn't realise how much I had lost till I bought new jeans, then it was like wow - I have a shape! I love this kinda NSv! Well done!

I love that! The positive effects of eating healthy and exercise. Great job! Enjoy the victory.

I agree on the diets. They don't work because they are not sustainable. Just make a calorie budget for yourself (MFP) and then eat what you like and we all know what healthy food is. Have your treats to keep sane and then just work around it. Just like a financial budget.

LOL one thing I LOVE about looking at calories as a budget (weekly or daily) is that it has helped me understand what my husband does with the finances and we communicate better. How awesome is that?! Better communication with your spouse, who would have thought? When I talk about working around my calorie budget he laughs and says yeah, and goes on to explain something financial and now I'm more interested in helping him keep withing budget. LOL Life is fun sometimes.
