    Im in need of motivation, I cant seem to get past certain point. I am in your ballpark as far as weight and height goes.

    All these photos are so inspiring! I am also 5'7" and currently at 163. Start weight at the beginning of the year was into the 180's and I want to get where I was before I turned 30 again (I gained 50 pounds that year - it was a stressful year). My big goal is 145 even though I was in the 125-30 range in my twenties. I figure my body is different now that I am 39 (almost the big 4-0!) and 145 might look just as good as 130. I guess we'll see!

    All of you are very inspiring to me though to see what might be if I work hard enough! congrats to all of you!

    These are very inspiring! I started at 172 months ago, dropped to 166 and then fell off the wagon. I gained a few pounds, but I've been back on the wagon and exercised for at least an hour (cardio) 6 of the past 8 days with some strength training as well so I'm hoping to actually see results and stick with it. Thank you for sharing your success!

    I'm 5'7 and my goal weight is around 130-135. When I reach that I plan to re-evaluate and see if 120-125 is doable or too thin for my frame.

    bump for motivation....5'6.5 and need to lose about 60 lbs....feel like i've made little to no progress so far but i'm not giving up!

    I'm 5'7 and started Sept 2011. I'm down from 205 to 163 as of today. So, 42 lbs down!

    I would like to get to 155 and see how I look in a bikini and if I fit into my size 8 jeans (I'm sooo close)

    Im 5'6 started at 217 and Im down 13 lbs, but I have lost 16 inches total. I am actually in the same size I was when I used to weigh in the 180's, so I'm feeling pretty good, but I have a long way to go. Dont have progress pics to post yet.

    Are you still loosing or are you maintaining/gaining muscle now? and how many calories are you having a day? you look fantastic!
  • I'm 5'6" and just started yesterday. I weight 232, and am going to work at it. Need all your support and am glad I joined this site. Have a temporary disability and so its difficult to exercise but I am going to do what I can. Just reading the posts help me and inspire me to continue this time.

    I'm 5' 7" and weighed about 370 lbs when I decided to start trying to lose weight (that was after gaining back nearly all of the 150 lbs I had lost a few years ago!). I'm at ~274 lbs now, with another 24 lbs to go until I hit my immediate goal of losing what I had gained back. We'll see where I go from there.

    I have always tried to loose weight but nothing helped until I heard about this! I had previously gained 1st and decided I wanted to get healthy again. My first weight goal is 130, my second is 126 and my third shall be 119. I am currently 8-10 (UK) size.

    I"m 5'7 starting weight was 181 and now I'm down to 153 and go back and forth between 153 -156. My goal weight is to be 135 - 140. I haven't lost anymore pounds in over a month. So I am working on that now, but I may have lost inches. Haven't took any measurements yet to see if that's what's happening. Don't have pictures uploaded as of yet, but I do have some.

    I am 5'6" and will turn 50 in April. I have a hard time posting pictures here but I have updated pictures in my profile. I reached my halfway mark 8 days ago. I started at 224 and currently weigh 185. I want to have another 15 LBS off by Christmas and the remaining off by my birthday. If I can do this, anyone can!

    There's a total difference in the photos, a lot of you look so much more confident and happy in your after pics!

    I wish I had some progress pictures, I regret not taking any but I thought for certain I would fail and I didn't want photos to remind me of that.

    Anyways, I'm 5'5 and I was 203+lbs, now I'm down to 161 as of this week. I'm aiming for 150, but we'll see when I reach that point.

  • Are you getting results from tracking you eating habits here on myfitnesspal. And are you exercising? Curious, because I haven't been exercising, but I am tracking...
