Could really use some motivation now

I've been trying to eat right, exercising and such. But there's just not much happening. I've been basically at the same weight for over a month now and it's stressing me out. It feels like I have no control over myself and my body. Some nice words would very much be appreciated right about now.

Don't give up, that's all I can say. It may take a while to start, but it will.
Are you sure you have your profile set properly, are recording calories and exercise accurately?
You CAN do it, and you will, just remember that when you're having a rough day!
Good luck!0 -

This is going to sound crazy but have you ever heard of the book "Think and Grow Rich" sounds crazy but I love the book for motivation... this morning I did NOT want to go climb those dang hills an workout or my jog that is really a slow trot lol...and then I read this quote in the book
A miracle is the achievement by an individual or group of people of what is believed to be an "impossible" goal... it is achieved through thought, motivation and action. The achievement of impossible goals is possible as long as the goals and the methods of reaching them do not violate Universal Laws--- which are the Laws of God and the rights of your fellow man.
The book tells me to get up every morning reciting my goals and revisit them continually throughout the day and recite them again before bed... it takes 30 days to form a habit, it takes 60+ to break one... the scale drives me INSANE and although it is stuck or broken lol my clothes can't lie and they are getting looser... keep faith, you can do it0 -
I had the same problem and I know how frustrating it is. You work and you work and you work and nothing happens. then eventually you say "the heck with it" and go back to eating all the junk food. The only thing that accomplished for me was to gain an extra 20lbs that I now have to lose. Just hang in there and it will happen. I did for me and I lost 6lbs in 4 days. You can do it too!0
