my treadmill tells me how many calories I burn so I just put walking and enter the calories myself0

Stair-treadmill under cardio--just found it!0

You can just use the regular walking option. It doesn't matter if you walk on a treadmill or the sidewalk.
Stair-treadmill is a different machine; it simulates climbing stairs. Don't use that one unless that's what you're actually doing.0 -
do you not know how fast you were walking?
(if it doesn't have any kind of digital readout, for whatever reason, 4 mph is kind of like the mall walker speed. 3 mph is, let's say, walking with a purpose. 2 mph is ambling around downtown.)0 -
walking is walking. Treadmill or sidewalk it's pretty much the same. Type in walking and use the speed closest to what you did.0
