Looking for New Friends that Actually EAT!!!!!

I think I originally posted this in the wrong forum???
I have been recovering from an ED for a few years now, and I have gotten so that I actually eat what I need to eat to fuel my 2-3 hour workouts and strength training. I didn't really realize how little I was eating until I saw how the Net Calories worked on here!!!! I've found that a lot of people are eating very little, and I've seen some posts from those on my friends list about fasting, people eating VERY little, etc (not that I'm bashing, but I'm trying to avoid that mindset again)., that tends to be a trigger for me because it makes me feel like I'm a pig.
So I'd love to add some friends to my list that will help encourage me to continue eating in a HEALTHY manner, and those that are going about their weightloss and fitness in a way similar to me.

I am not sure what your expectations or you net calories are but I eat between 1300-2000 calories a day depending on how much I exercise, I will add you :-)0

Well, I definitely eat, and I'm intrigued by your piano in the background, not to mention the beautiful concert gown you are wearing! I graduated with a piano performance degree long time ago and currently director a choir.
MFP has me at 1330 cals/day, I usually earn between 300-400 calories from exercising daily and I eat at least 1/2 of them back, if not more. Feel free to add me!0 -

I definitely eat! God knows thats what put me in the fat girl clothes to begin with. I try to eat 1500-1700 a day. However today was a super light day because im not feeling well... homemade veggie soup evidently doesnt have much in the way of calories. Anyhow, add me... we can be EATERS together!0

I live somewhat of a "Forks over KNives" lifestyle. Add me if you like.0
-
I like food! Add me I just upped my intake to eating back most of my exercise calories (I know I should have been before!)0
-
I never eat under 1800... most days closer to 2500 if I get in a good workout. Add me! I'd love to support you.0

I am sorry to hear you had to struggle with ED. I would like to add you to my friends, if you don't mind.0

I eat but with it being mostly veggies, my calorie consumption may not be enough for you. I try to hit at least 1200 a day. I don't know why but all I seem to want to eat is veggies.0

I am an eater! I train for marathons and even on long run days I strive to NET 1200 at least which could mean a very high intake. But I eat clean and healthy with the exceptions here and there of course because we al deserve to live a little. Feel free to add me :-)0

I just ate a delicious PB sandwich. I eat a lot. I eat all day long, every 2-3 hours also - or so that is my goal. If I wait too long between times that I eat it often will set me up for binge behavior.
The thought of restriction makes me anxious. I'm so glad I'm doing it the right way finally. Glad you are too! :flowerforyou:0 -
If you are still trying to work out 2-3 hours a day then you aren't over your ED. Bullemia can take many forms, most people don't realize that excessive working out, unless you are on the biggest loser or something like that, is not healthy and certainly not sustainable.
I'd suggest eating a net of 1200-1400 calories per day and working out 1 hour per day. You will still see amazing results. Remember to give your body 1 or 2 days a week to receover and relax as well. Good luck!0 -
I eat 1400 a day plus exercise calories - it's about 75% healthy 25% whatever-I-want. Feel free to add me if you're not scared of a little sugar. :blushing:0

Feel free to add me! I love to eat and and try to stay around 1600 calories a day, although sometimes I go over that. If I can ever get motivated to exercise, I may up that number a bit as long as I'm still losing.
I have begun trying to eat a cleaner diet over the last month. I find that if I stick to fruit, veggies, and leaner meats, I can eat a lot more.0 -
My problems is that I get in a really bad mood when I starve myself especially at work so I Have to eat when I get the hunger pangs. I eat sensibly and work out 4 or 5 times per week. I control my portions and keep away from sugar and fast food. however I'm struggling to loose just 10 lbs. I suspect this is because I dislike most types of meat and eat mainly a carb and vegetarian diet. I like to hear from anyone whoes lost weight on a mainly vegetarian diet.0

LOVES food. Food = fuel! Feel free to add me!!!0 -
Eater here...I exercise a ton because I like it and I like the way my body is toning up. If I never hit my goal weight, as long as I rid myself of all the jiggles, I will be satisfied.
With only 8 more to go for goal, I've started working the calories up to maintenance, so I'm eating cleaner than ever and adding back foods I have given up for a year.
And it's my birthday...there is a plate of brownies in the kitchen. I haven't had a brownie for quite a long time. Celebrating with celery can wait until tomorrow!
Feel free to add me! There's a cheerleader inside of all of us!0 -
I don't deprive myself at all!!! I have lost a total of 25 lbs (9 lbs since being on MFP) and still haven't missed a meal. I eat very healthy 5-6 days per week and then I usually have an off day. If I want Mexican food, I'm having Mexican food. If I want pizza, I'm having pizza. But, I still log everything and I exercise, exercise, exercise. You can friend me if you'd like also0
