Does anybody know if spaghetti squash can be frozen after it is steamed?

I don't know for sure but i would guess that you could.
You could portion it out in plastic bags with or without sauce and then either quick boil it back (in the proper plastic storage bag), nuke it or bring it back to life in a fry pan on low with sauce. They are so cheap to experiment with what have ya got to lose?

    Hi, Michelle,

I have seen other types of squash sliced and in the frozen food section, so it would be worth a try. Let us know how it turns out.

After you cook SS, you run a fork thru its meat and it breaks up into strings that look surprisingly like spaghetti.
If you hit it with a red sauce, you'll see that it works just like it to, has way less carbs, is better for you and surprisingly filling.

I wonder if it goes by another name also? I can't find it anywhere...
