Heart Rate Monitor and Sports Bra (large breasted ladies)

Hi -
I have large breasts and the super powered sports bras to go with them. I am using a heart rate monitor to track my calories burned while exercising. The heart rate monitor works fine if I'm just walking, but it had trouble reading my heart rate when I am jogging. I have to put it under the sports bra to get it started and then I guess it has trouble once everything starts moving around.
It is annoying to have to stop all the time when trying to job to replace it, and I feel self conscious pulling up my shirt to adjust everything out in public.
Has anyone else encountered this? How do you get it to stay put?

I've never had an issue. My strap goes up under my breasts, so it's always under my sports bra. That's where it's supposed to go according to the directions. The unit itself ends up right under the band of my sports bra. I've never had it slide at all and only twice since January have I had it not be able to get a reading.
Is your strap tight enough?0 -
Good to know. I think its tight, I don't think thats the issue. But maybe I have it too low? Its more under the bottom of the sports bra band.
What kind of HRM do you have? Mine is the polar F4.0 -
I have a Polar HRM & wear Enell sports bras & I have no problem. I tuck the HRM strap completely under my bra strap so it's right under my boobs.0

I have the FT7. They use the same strap. Mine falls under the bottom band too but I've never had an issue with it moving. I suspect it's not tight enough.0

I have the FT7 and I put it on to where it's under the band of my sports bra. Haven't had any trouble with it.0

I have the FT4 and I put the strap as high [under my girls] as possible. Then when I put on my sports bras, its completely covered up and doesnt go any where. You cant even see it under the bra. If the strap pokes out below your bra line, you are wearing it too low.
I take Zumba classes and I'm starting to run, and it never moves.0 -

I agree. When I say "under" my bra, I mean physically under it, not below it on my body.0 -
I have the Polar F4 and wear it pretty much under the bra. Between the Polar strap and my bra it stays put0
