Hey, all! I recently got back on the weight loss bandwagon after a few months off, and started really trying again on Monday. Unfortunately today was a really emotional day and instead of getting out of bed and going to do my damndest, I stayed in bed all day and ate half a large pizza.

How do you get right back on that bandwagon the next day without feeling too flustered/angry with yourself? I'm so mad I could spit that I did this to myself, and I want to know A) how to get back on it tomorrow like nothing happened and B) how you keep from self-sabotaging yourself.

Thanks. :)

The only way you're gonna fail is if you give up. This is my mantra. I don't use it as an excuse to have "cheat days." I just try to be consistent and honest with myself. I don't believe in rapid results, or starving myself. In March/April I started w/ MFP and especially in the beginning it was tough, but on non-work out days if I was starving at 1500 kcal and I went over, well that's okay. but just don't get discouraged and think well this day is already shot so might as well forget it and be 'good' tomorrow. You can do this, small changes add up and when you have a less then stellar day just recommit to YOURSELF it's not helpful to dwell on the negative, each day is a new day and week by week, month by month the small changes and good choices are gonna start to crowd out the not so good choices. You will get there, be good to yourself, honor yourself and your health, wellness & nutrition:smile:
