I think it will look beautiful.
What color are your eyes?0 -
I love my auburn hair.0

I just went dark auburn.. I have medium skin, neutral, blue eyes, and my natural color is darker red. It fades incredibly quickly. I shampoo every other day and use shampoo/conditioner for colored hair.... I love it though. I love it so much.
I think it will be awesome! Go for it!0 -
It will look beautiful on you! Everyone needs to reinvent themselves every now and then0

Auburn is the best colour ;o)
I am sure it will look lovely0 -
It would look nice on fair skin but I have that color now, from a natural brown, and the auburn is hard to get out of my hair when I go to dye it something else. Not sure if it acts that way on blondes but thought I would put that out there. Even when I dyed my hair a brown it turned it a deeper auburn, maybe thats just my luck? lol0

Naturally blonde. Thinking about going dark auburn. I went light auburn twice, but it fades really quickly. I liked the way it looks, but maybe darker? I have blonde hair and fair skin. Opinions?0

I had auburn hair when I was younger (it darkened to black as I got older), and it's a great colour; really stands out. The only thing to be aware of is skintone, but if a light auburn is successful, I say go for it. You might want to fill your eyebrows in with a slightly darker than natural shade, though, for balance.0

Stick with blonde.0

Red heads are my kryptonite. It makes me sad when I see one dying their hair blonde or brown...sniff.0

I say go for it it is just hair you can always dye it back! My primary color is blonde as well/fair skin too! Looked just fine on me, I would suspect the same for you as well darker auburn will fade too--so if it is too dark you know it will always fade back! Dont be afraid to be bold!!0

I think it auburn would be a nice change for you! Give it a go.0

Auburn is the bestest!!! Its what I was supposed to be born with I'm sure!! but yeah, it fades fast no matter what. Just keep on redoing it... Unless someone can suggest a brand that last longer.0

i have naturally dark auburn hair, fair skin & blue eyes. it's a very good look.
eta: if you're a natural blonde, though, it will still fade to a lighter auburn or maybe even get kind of "pinky" so you'll need to keep it up. when you want to reduce the pink, use a greenish base rinse to even out the color.0 -
I think it will look nice...but if your pic is the color you have right now, I dont recommend doing it at home...very good chance of it coming out too bright. But I like the idea of change!:)0

I guess I should consider myself lucky....been told they don't make this color in a bottle! Natural redhead for life!0

Do it!0

I have professionally colored auburn hair that I get colored every six weeks. My hair is naturally auburn; I color to cover gray. (My photo is from when I used to highlight reguarly, before I needed to really start covering the gray.) It does fade outquite a bit over six weeks and I usually hate it after the first four, but I found that the John Frieda shampoo and conditioner along with the Liquid Shine Luminous Glaze really helps the color last much longer. I usually start thinking it really needs to be colored a few days before my next appointment, rather than a couple of weeks.0

LOL!! I have naturally red hair and HATED it growing up. A few years ago I started highlighting it - which I like. Then this past July, I went to the hairdresser and we had a miscommunication problem and instead of giving me black and blonde highlights, he misunderstood, dyed my entire head dark brown and then gave me blonde highlights. Oh my gosh - it was so completely different!! I liked it for about a week and have hated it ever since!! Thank goodness the red is shining back through. It will be a long time before I mess with my hair again!!0 -

Tough to tell. I have a friend who has the whitest skin I've ever seen outside of being albino and BLACK hair (natural) and very dark eyebrows and she's strikingly beautiful. But I also have very fair skin and I think too dark on me would look morbid.
Maybe try on a wig in the color you want to see how it works with your skin tones.0 -
I think it would look great. I'm naturally a blonde as well, but I vary between red and blonde all the time.0

Even Rachel Wood in True Blood! You look a LOT like her!
That auburn is beautiful!0 -
Dark auburn fades quickly as well. And is hard to undo. I recommend washing only 2-3 times a week in cold water if you want it to last.0

i have natural auburn hair, not very dark and not very light, i have been blessed with natural high and low lights in it. i have very fair skin. I am almost 100% irish so very fair skin. i also have the very frizzy curly hair too it has taken me a long time to love my natural hair. i think that auburn looks good on most ppl as long as you get it done right like any dye job.0

Haha, my fiance said that same thing when we met0 -
I feel mildly ashamed I had to google the definition of "auburn". Possibly because my hair has always been either "strawberry blonde" or "ginger" depending on whether the person describing it is a **** or not.
Anyhoo, I say go f'rit! Having dyed my own hair blonde for a while to escape simpleton bullies I found that the bullies stayed, but they just assumed I was too dim to open doors with blonde hair. Red is definitely the way forward!0 -

I get called Ginger all the time. I've embraced it haha. I actually take it as a nickname0
-
I think I was 10 when my neighbour decided to set nicknames for us all. And as ginger rhymes with minger, that was my nickname from then on. School was a similar trial. There's nowt wrong with ginger but a hell of a lot wrong when it's being used as yet another way to bully you.
I don't mind it so much now, but when you're 14 and are seriously questioning why you have rules about not being violent... As I understand it also, being red headed in the States doesn't hold nearly the same stigma as in the UK.0
