Great job! Yesterday I bought a beautiful pair of jeans that were 75% off and 2 dress sizes smaller than I am now. I can't refuse a bargain, but even more importantly- I too now have a pair of goal pants waiting for me to fit into!!

I have a pair of 10 shorts that I keep hanging in my closet as motivation. I can't believe that I ever got myself into them before...but I am determined to do it again!

Yes ma'am, in dress slacks in jeans. Due to my "wide" waiste, I wore a 14-15 snug. But I purchased some jeans and fit into a size 11 loosely. All my dress slacks are sagging just about..

Tasha30 - this is so great, you are an inspiration. Along with several others I have my "skinny" shorts and jeans in the closet waiting for me to fit in again. I know it will take time but I am ready for that change.

I basically lost weight by just cutting my calories. Initially I did start off working out 30 minutes a day, but at this point I rarely work out and am still losing weight. I do drink a lot of water (8-10 cups a day).
  • That is awesome. There is nothing like slipping into a smaller size!!!!!:flowerforyou:

  • Miranda, what do you do to keep your thighs "under control?" That is a major problem area for me as well.

i think running is the key to losing hips, thighs, butt. that is my problem area as well. when i first started this process last summer i was in a size 14 (the waist was big but it was for the booty). i have started running (amongst other exercise) and my goal pants were an 8. i have bypassed that and i am my goal weight and i am in size 2. i NEVER would have dreamed that number. my butt is gone, i am actually trying to build it up with some more muscle. i am definitely going to keep running. congrats on the loss, its so fun to have clothes that are too big.
