I'm kind of scared. No one to talk to.

You clearly have a problem. I look at this post as an attempt to get attention. You clearly have a problem. Don't waste your time going to a gastrointerologist. Find someone who specializes in eating disorders. You look extremely skinny in your profile picture. You aren't the first young lady that has used the discussion forums as a platform to bring attention to themselves....by letting everyone know about how few calories you are eating, how many calories you need to burn through exercise, and fear of feeling fat/ bloated. Please get some help.
YOU clearly have a problem. It really shows how little character you have when judge and belittle anyone who is clearly reaching out. People like you are in part the reason that a lot of people with issues, food-related or not, don't reach out and suffer in silence.

When You exercise while your sugar is under 100 you could end up at the hospital. 400 calories for the day can't maintain you. Please, please hold off exercise until you see the doctor. I will be praying for you. You Are Not Alone. I'm out here praaying. God Bless cdmr1230

Nope....I agree with her.0 -
you can get support from this site if you friend people you feel comfortable with. I message certain people I trust when I have problems that others might jump on and skew it to their liking.
I think going to the doctors is a good step. not knowing what's going on with your body is a scary thing! take care of yourself and know that God loves you! Friend me is you'd like to! God Bless!0 -

^^This! Today is not the day to get me going but since you did......never judge a book by its cover. This site should be about giving positive reinforcement and support. We all have things we struggle with and for some people it is food.0 -
You need counseling for your eating disorder. You must know that....why so important to quote only eating 400 calories and burning most of them off on a site like this? You know what people on this site struggle with and why we're here. If you wanted help and not attention you would be spending less time uploading your picture here and more time seeking out the correct resources. I am not being mean just truthful. You're an adult...get your help instead of wasting time if you're that serious. Sorry...I just call it like I see it.
shouldn't say sorry unless you really are.0 -
Yeah there are people that I can talk to. But they normally just shrug me off, they don't really see that I have a problem, They think I'm just doing this for attention. But I'm not. I'm scared, thats why I made that appointment cause I've been having other heath issues as well.
I've been going to the gym like this for the past month or so. Not eating much/ burning it off. I haven't been even slightly dizzy or uncomfortable.
You're not making any sense at all. What are you scared of? Your stomach is messed or you have some form of ED. You have health problems, and aren't eating... yet you go to the gym?
HELLO!?!?!??!?!?!
I never understand why people take the time to post only to show their ignorance.
If NEARLY all of us strangers can be supportive please reach out to your friends and family. Do you think they will shrug you off if you tell them that you are scared and your situation can be very serious? Please don't go to the gym but call the phone number listed. And keep your doctor's appointment. You need to understand why you are feeling sick.0 -
Oh my I just want to hug you!! Please Please call someone for help. My sister has an eating disorder and has suffered for over 20 years with this disease. Her body has shut down and she has had so many medical issues due to her illness. We have sent her to 5+ eating disorder clinics and it hasn't helped because SHE doesn't want to change and get better. This has totally devastated our family and now she's so small that her heart has issues. She's only 39 and I fear everyday that I'm going to loose her sooner than I should.
I tell you this story so you can understand the long term effects that food issues or eating disorders do to your body and how it effects the one you love too. People do care about you (Look at all these strangers immediately responding to you here) Please Please call for help and realize that You ARE worth it. I am keeping you in my prayers.0 -
You may have food issues but what you're describing sounds similar to when my gallbladder stopped working. Super bloated after eating anything sometimes vomiting or stomach pain but mostly super, duper bloated. I had to have my gallbladder taken out immediately. I was in my early 20s at the time. Another issue may be a gluten or soy intolerance. I have a friend who cannot eat carbs without having serious issues like you are describing. Only exercise will alleviate her problems as well. Good luck I hope you find an answer.0

That was my first thought too. I've been having similar issues.0 -

Hmmmmm....how do you know I'm not? I am not saying this out of anger....I just think those who are struggling with being overweight should be respected too. Okay....I'll talk....I used to struggle with bulimia/anorexia....kind of traded one type of eating problem for another....now I am doing things better realizing Im not perfect....but NEVER would I have come to a site like this back then to talk about my meager intake and excercise....so I do know both sides....see? You were judging too....these are the kind of subjects that divide those trying to do the right thing here. That's what I'm saying. Who knows? You and I could have gotten along great if it wasn't for this stuff.0 -

This isn't the thread to go tit-for-tat with others. It's time to drop it.0 -
Please DO NOT go to the gym right now..give your body a rest until you get the proper medical attention...even though we are all strangers to each other many of us DO CARE!! Good luck and God bless!!0

I had the very same thing happen to me when I was 20; I would get very ill after eating and towards the end the pain was just unbearable! I actually lost 25lbs in a month and a halfs time because I couldn't really keep anything down and had no desire to eat because it was just so ridiculously unpleasant. If I ate two meals in a day during that time it was a lot; I bet I was only eating 300-400 calories it was that bad. A lot of people think it's only greasy food that triggers the gall bladder attacks but honestly almost anything set mine off. When you see the doctor you may want to have him check on your gall bladder; it could be you have stones or it just isn't functioning properly any more. Good luck and feel better! :flowerforyou:0 -

It's good that you're going to the doc. Tell the doc about your unhealthy relationship with food. I know what you mean, though. I'm always under my own calorie goal and don't want more. Force yourself to eat something post workout, though, preferably something with protein.0

I'm not saying this IS the case here but...

Shame on the over 30's that are being unkind.
keep your MD appointment check for an underlaying severe health issue. Find a therapist , join support group that he or she recommends. Try and talk with your parents, aunts uncles grandparents, you are very young and seem desperate to find your way. You know you have a problem and that is the first step0 -
Its good that you are seeing DR please keep your appointment.
Best of luck to you.0 -
To the OP: I'm not a doctor....you could have a medical issue....you could have an eating disorder. I don't know. But you are taking a step in the right direction...and going to the doctor. You have to start somewhere. That doc may send you to another doc, but at least you are on the road to finding out what the problem is. Like others have said, don't exercise unless you get your 1200 calories. Best of luck to you. Hope you are feeling better soon.

You are ridiculous. How would you have any idea whether she is doing this for attention or not. So judgmental of you to say the things you did when she obviously needs support. It really bother me when people make assumptions about other people's lives when they don't know the person personally.
The way I look at an attempt to draw attention to oneself is I see it as a cry for help. So let's try to help this young lady however we can.
There are a lot of great suggestions already, keep them coming, in a positive way.0 -
Yes, please keep your appointment. They will direct you to a better resource if they aren't the appropriate person.
Hopefully you have a good relationship with your mom...I would talk to her before anyone else
Good luck, things will get better...
And don't mind the crusty old haters.0 -
OH I really wish you well soon! So sorry this is happening to you, but whatever the issue is, you should get it checked right away. If you need someone to talk to, I'm listening, best wishes.0

keep a food journal and log how you feel. certain foods cause intestine destress. you may be allergic and not know it. my sons girlfriend went through this. one day she could eat carrots, the next day she ate them she'd be doubled over in pain, not eating much in fear of discomfort, always at the gym, not sure which food would cause the problem. turns out she had a bacteria imbalance in her stomach. if you have a boyfriend have him checked as he could be a carrier of the bacteria and spread it to you. my son was checked with her and under went the treatment she went to make sure. he didn't carry it. lucky for her. good luck and god bless.0

Eat foods higher in calories then. Like nuts and avacodos. Or try drinking an instant breakfast.0

This.
To the OP: don't lose hope. Remember that whatever the issue is, you're just human, and you're not perfect. However, you are worth a better life. Never forget that.

To all of you knocking the OP: did you actually read everything she posted? She used to eat 1200 calories per day but just recently started feeling sick all the time and lost her appetite. She doesn't know why, so she made a doctor appointment. That doesn't sound irresponsible or attention-grabbing to me. She's just confused, wants to eat without feeling nauseated, and needs advice.
I'm on medicine that makes me kind of nauseated some days. On those days, it's really hard for me to eat much, and walking helps my stomach feel better. I totally get where she's coming from. I talked to my doctor, and we reduced my dosage. In her case, it might be something medical. She's listening to her body and acting on it. She's DOING THE RIGHT THING. Calm your tits.0 -
I have IBS and before I got it under control I would have the same problems but I dont think I ever was as bad as you. When I was younger I had problems like that all the time. IT made me underweight. I think my body is getting back at me because now I need to lose some weight. I dont think I would wait a week to go to the specialists. I has having far less problems and I called my Doctor because I was sick and they got me in for a next day emergency appointment. You could have something seriously wrong. If you have to go to the ER if it gets worse. try a BRAT diet. Bananas, apple sauce, rice and Gluten free toast. My doctor had me do this until I felt better then I started adding things back in. When I found something that I couldnt eat then quit eating it. Fell free to facebook me https://www.facebook.com/faylene.chung0
