I'm 5ft 1 123lbs age 41...would love to hit 120 and stay there...but overall I'm content with being healthy and toned :-)0

I'm 5'1. My goal weight is 130 but I'll take it ten pounds at a time and if I find myself happy and healthy beforehand I won't worry about it too much but 130 sounds pretty ideal for me.0

I am 65 years, 5'. I don't really have a goal. I want to try 10 lbs and when I reach that another 10 lbs and so on. Since I started I lost 3 lbs. I hope I can keep on doing this. I also exercise 5 times per week, 3x per week aquafitness and started last week 2x per week low impact aerobics. I am diabetic and can really lose some pounds. Had hip replacement 6 months ago.0

Hi your height and weight is a little lower than mine 5' started 184 and 57 years old. I loseon average less than 1 pound a week, eating 1200 -1300 cal a day.I have lost weight so many time and gained and as I get older it redistributes. I lower my expectation every time due to age and other factors. Now I am have a problem with me feet so exericie is sort of out. The charts are ridicuous for height , weight. Weight Watcher is about the most fair because they take age into consideration. if I weighed tohe top at 126 at my age everyone will thnk I have cancer, it's not me. I would love to 138-142 but to keep it off , the calorie in take and exercise it not realistic for me. I would be proud if I lost enought to put me in the 150s and hopefull out of the plus sizes and into the petites. Good luck to you.Weight Watchers told me if I don't want to stick to theri goal ( even though I am a lifetime member ) I need a doctor's note. that was the end of our relationship. I would love to hear about your journey.0

I'm 5'1 and my goal weight right now is 150. I haven't weighed that little since I was about 13 (I'm 40 now), so even that goal feels unrealistic to me lol, but I have less than 30 pounds to go now to reach it. Honestly, I'd even be happy to stay where I am now, if it came down to that, because I feel so much better than I did before...0

I'm 5'1 as well, will be 40 in November. I originally set my goal at 135, but changed it to 130. The top of the recommended weight for me is 132. But I'll decide based on how that weight feels as I get closer. I still have about 25 to lose. Good luck to you!0

My goal weight (5'1 220lbs right now), is 130. It says I should aim more for like 115-118, but I know I will be happy at 1300

I'm 5'1" and my original goal weight is 140. I set that with my doctor at the beginning of the year knowing that it was still in the "overweight" range. I'm only 12ish lbs away from that goal so I'm going to aim for 130ish next. But at that point I want to shift my focus from losing weight to gaining muscle mass. (I'm slowly working towards that now.)0

I'm 5'1" and will be 30 years old in October. I'm 160 lbs now and my goal weight is 120. But I want obvious muscle definition 2. Not big muscley muscles but u kno what I mean.0

I'm 24 years old, 5'1". I started in the 150's and now I'm at 135. I am happy at this weight, but just want to tone up.
My goal weight is 128, but I'm willing to move it up or down as needed.0 -
I'm 24 and 5' even, and right now I'm aiming for 130. It's been so long since I was anywhere near that number, and I have no idea where my comfort level will be. But I feel like 130 is a good number to aim for right now.0

Hi!
I'm 5'1" and my goal weight is 125. Once I reach that goal, I'll re-evaluate. My ideal goal weight is supposed to be 105. Yeah, I don't see that happening at all.
I'm 43.0 -
I'm 5'1" and 39. I had started at 133 and had my goal weight set at 120, and I reached that, but I still feel like there is more to lose, especially in my back/love handle area and in my stomach, so I'm going for 115 for now. I think your goal weight is a very individual thing. You have to decide not only what you want to look like, but how you want to feel and how hard you want to work to get there. Some people aren't willing to give up what they consider "living" in order to reach a particular weight, so they're happy with a compromise of somewhere in between. It totally depends on how active you are and how much muscle vs. fat you're carrying. You might think of it in terms of fat percentage instead of weight also. 25% is the highest of the normal fat range for women. Maybe that would be a place to start?0

I am 5'1.5" amd my goal weight is between 115-125 i am 39 so at least 125 but any thing less than what iam currently would be nice0

5'0 with a goal weight of 106. I started at 168, down to 104 after a year and now want to build more muscle. I can already see some abs, but my *kitten* and legs are lacking.0

I think those weight charts are completely irrelevant! Each person is an individual, and needs to have individual goals.0

Hello all I'm 5'1 and I am 51 years old and my goal weight is 120 lbs. When I was skinny I never would weighed more than 115 lbs. since Im older now I figure 120 lbs. should be perfect for me. You can look up weight charts and it tells you what your weight should be.
good luck to all I HAVE 102 LBS. TO LOSE0 -
I am 5'0, currently 167 from 183, goal weight is 130.. Feel free to add me0

Hi everyone I'm 46, 5' 1/2" I've set my goal weight at 131. I've lost 8 pounds with 14 pounds to go. I may adjust that once I reach my goal weight. I don't want to look like I did in my 20's (way too thin) so we shall see! Good luck to all of you!0

i'm going to be 36 on the 24th and i am 5.2ft inches/ I am currently down to 122, goal of 120. my goal at 1st was 130, then 125.. I doubt i will go under 120, my dr also said not to go under 120 b/c of my age and i am a med build.,
I'm confused by your age being a factor. I'm 38 and 5'4" and my goal is 117. I didn't check with my doctor first, but I really don't see why my age should make much of a difference as to what is a healthy weight.0 -
I am 5'1 and my goal is 1350
-
I'm 5' 1" in my mid- 20s. I've been thinking of this because even though the BMI says one range. I'm not completely sure if I have an end goal or more of an end range.
Ultimate weight range: 98 lbs - 120 lbs
Mini goals:
1. 150 lbs
2. 140 lbs
3. 130 lbs
4. 120 lbs
5. 110 lbs
6. 100 lbs
I figure it will take anywhre from 6 months to over a year.0 -
I'm 30 and 5'1.5, my goal weight is 119lbs and a 24 inch waist. I currently weigh 140lbs (with 27 inch waist) so that's 21lbs to go. I'm hoping to lose it by the end of the year!0

I'm 5'0 tall. My UGW is 100 pounds0
-
I'm 5'1 and 1/2, and my UGW is 110. I chose it because back when I was 120 I still didn't like the way I lookedt. I'm not sure if its the right weight for me, but I figure once I get down close to it I will figure out what works best.0
-
I'm 5'1" and my highest was 172. Now down to 162.5, tks. to mfp. My goal is 125 (but ultimately I would really like to shoot for 119!). I don't know how realistic that is though. I'm 66 yrs. and hypothyroid (taking Levothyroxine 100mcg). I've started aerobics at the gym and I plan on adding strength training (weights) to my weekly exercise. In my early 20's, I was about 115 and I remember that as being a very good weight for my frame. I've been losing about 1/2 to 1 lb. a week.0
-
5'2" here and I'm aiming for 135. If I look great and have some nice muscle tone at that weight; great! If I don't and still feel like there's some fat to lose, I'll be aiming for something in the 120's. I've been as low as 113lbs before as an adult but I wasn't healthy aka skinny fat.0

I'm 5'3", am 63, and just got married. My goal weight is 145.0
