I am 5'8", 192 pounds and I wear a size 10 (sometimes a 12, just depends). I have a medium frame and I tend to carry my weight evenly.0
-
I'm 5'3.5", 125lbs and generally a UK 8 - 10 (US 4 - 6) or a Small, depending on the store.0

My jean size is somewhere between a 6 and an 8 (which hasn't been the case since sophomore year in high school, I might add!), but my shirt size is still in the Large range. The bottom half of my body knows what's going on and the top half can't manage to keep up. At least a large is an improvement!
Edit: I guess I should add that I'm about 152 right now and 5'3" since that was part of the question...0 -
218 lbs. size 20 in pants and 2X in shirts.0

I was just woundering what size of clothes most people are in compared to thier weight. I am a size 14 in womens, a size 15 in juniors and I weigh 173. I can wear a M or a L shirt depending on the brand. How about everyone else?
When I was 173, I was wearing a size 18 in women's and an XL in shirts.0 -
I'm 5'5.5", 287lbs, and wear a size 24 jeans, generally an XXL shirt though some XLs are alright.0

I'm 6' weigh 245lbs and wear a size 18W or regular 20. So height does matter as I don't look huge as you would think I would. I have a very big boned frame. But all in all, I am not feeling healthy and would like to lose 20lbs.0

You might check out http://www.mybodygallery.com to see how women your height and weight compare. It's pretty handy.
I love that website! That is how I found out that I have a really distorted view of what I actually look like at my current weight...the way that I THINK I look actually matches the body type of people who weight 40 or so lbs. more than I do. It can be a good way to regain a sense of perspective and has reminded me not to be so self-critical and that I really don't look as fat as I think I am.
Btw, I am 5'11" 229 pounds and wear jeans size 16 (sometimes 14) and an XL or L top (I carry a lot of weight around my middle unfortunately).
I hate that site because I see things like this:
