How would I react? I'd need more insight into the relationship before insulting the guy. For all we know, he can just be giving you crap because you constantly belittle him in front of his friends. :noway:

Haha, good point. Although I don't belittle him. I do get your point :P
It's interesting to see other peoples responses.

If you are both 12 this might be acceptable!
It sounds like you are going out with either Beavis or Butthead.

You should try making him a sammich while you're talking about your favorite music. Then if he doesn't listen at least you've accomplished something worthwhile.

    It sounds like he's joking.

I wouldn't even waste my time getting mad over that, it's not a big deal.

Girlfriend: We have really different taste in music..
Bioyfriend: Well whats your latest obsession?
Girlfriend: Oh, a solo artist called-
Boyfriend: I was kidding, I dont care. Shut up. Haha, I'm such a great boyfriend :P

Just curious. I told my mum and she just said "Ha, that's men for you" I don't know if she was being realistic or if she's a bit jaded..

I'd dump him too he sounds like a knobhead (if you not british I mean an ahole) if he doesnt validate your feelings or care what you like get rid of him before it becomes serious.

I think the fact that he told you to "Shut up" is reason enough to ditch him.

Well at least he has a mature girlfriend who posts his conversations on the internet...

Sounds like you two are perfect for each other. Go on.. kiss him honey!

Well, if you have constantly crappy taste in music, then I think he was justified.

Sounds like rather dull banter to me.

I can't see how 1) that even constitutes a conversation and 2) it merits posting on the internet.

Can't really answer... My husband is AWESOME and if I took ONE random conversation and said "What do you think of this?" I might get 9,897 people telling me to leave the BEST thing that ever happened to me. Not everyone is sunshining glittery bunnies all the time. :ohwell:

You: What would you like me to do in bed?
Him: Well I'd really like to...
You: I was kidding, I dont care. Shut up. Haha, I'm such a great girlfriend.
