I don't think that the treadmill calories in the search account for your weight. I now use http://42.195km.net/e/treadsim to calculate your actual treadmill calories burned.

    Thanks for the link.
    This is a lot closer to my Polar heart rate monitor than other links, or my treadmill readout.

    do you think this would also be accurate for a manual treadmill? I can't go longer than about 15 minutes on it and the lowest incline is I think 5%.

    Thanks for the website. I have read that a treadmill's total calories burned can be overstated by up to 30%. I am going to start using this as my guide.

    not bad, i just got off the treadmill, the machine said i burned 850 cals, this says i burned 825 cals, so thats pretty close!
