Second day of orientation at college - he was the only other engineering/theater double major in the school, so we became good friends. My third day of orientation I started dating someone else. A year and a half later my current boyfriend told me he was in love with me and I wasn't with the right guy, and that was that. We've been together 3 1/2 years now.0

Gaming forum from another site 5 years ago, we've been dating for a little over 1. It's funny, cause we disliked each other at first, and really only ended up being civil to one another at all because I was sleeping with his best friend.0

Met my husband, David, 13 years ago at the airport in mountain home Idaho. We were both in the USAF and I was his trainer. When I met him, the first thing I noticed were his big blue eyes and long eye lashes. He was very shy. Didn't talk much. But we hung out and became good friends until one night, 3 months later, I decided to kiss him. We got engaged 3 months later and married the following year. From that day on...we've been inseperable. We have two kids and have been married for almost 12 years. He still gives me goosebumps and butterflies like no other man has before.0

We first met when we were in our teens and worked together at Burger King while in high school. A mutual friend of ours from back in the day hooked us back up together in 2007. We dated for 2 yrs, were engaged for 1 and finally married in Oct of 2010. He's my best friend in the whole world and I kick myself every time I think about how we could have been this fabulous all these years, but just didn't see it back then. We met in God's time and we live out our lives thanking God for the time we have together now.0

I got dragged to a charity date auction... The first three bachelors were dressed in suits, ties, dress pants, etc. Bachelor number four came out dressed in nothing but a cowboy hat, cowboy boots, itty bitty denim shorts, and a *kitten* eating grin. I placed a few offers but was quickly outbid. Quite on accident, I ran into him a few days later. That was nearly three years ago0

She was dating a friend of mine. They came to my house to hang out. They were kissing and she told him what a good kisser he was. I told her women always say I kiss better than he does. She walked up to me and said prove it. I never kissed a woman so badly in my life. I heard her telling him later that he is a much better kisser than me. They fizzled out over time. I was very interested in her. She worked at a local restaraunt, so I would stop by and visit with her. She never knew I existed. She went of to college. Three years later she came by my workplace. We started hanging out, and have been together now for 17 years. I still like to tease her that our friend was a much better kisser than I. She says she has a right to change her opinion.0

My older brother's wedding. He was the Man of Honor (bride didn't have any close female friends). I was shocked that my sister-in-law knew someone that hot and single and never thought to introduce us. We talked at the reception and I found out he asked my SIL about me (and I did a happy dance). He asked how old I was. He thought I couldn't be a day over 17 and was worried he was a dirty old man. I was almost 21. He got my email from a message she sent out to a group and it went from there.
My brother got a divorce a few years later (turns out SIL was CRAZY) but husband and I have been together 12 years, married 7.0 -

This is almost exactly how my parents met, just my mom was MOH and dad was best man. And my parents best friends ended up divorcing after a couple years as well.0 -
Through a friend. I was the maid of honor in her wedding and I needed a date. He ended up not being able to make it due to a family obligation but we met up a couple days after and we've been together for 1 year and 2 months now. Huzzah.0
