Is this a weird reason for me to want to lose weight?

One of my lesser reasons for wanting to lose weight is so that when I get older and settle down with a guy and get pregnant, I can be one of those skinny girls with a cute baby bump, if that makes sense?

Is that weird or dumb? Is it just me? hahaha.

I am 23, but I am pretty sure I do not even want a kid - but I would much rather have a healthy pregnancy.

One thing I am afraid of when I do lose all of my weight, is getting pregnant - I see it time and time again of a woman having a baby, then they just seem to let themselves go. Gain A LOT of weight (even after the birth) no make up or hair done up - sweats...yikes.

hahaha. No, it's not weird! I weigh NOW what I did when I was 39 weeks pregnant! :( Kinda sad when pregnancy clothes are too small for you when you aren't even pregnant. ha.

When I get pregnant again, I don't want people to "wonder" or have to think twice whether I'm pregnant or just fat. lol

No not weird. Is it weird of me to want to lose weight because I want to look for a different employer? I don't think employers like to hire fat people.

I SWORE I would never be "that" mom. Ya know, the frumpy kind.

First went the necklaces, then the bracelets, then the earrings. Then came the comfy pants, when jeans got too tight and uncomfortable. You can't wear heels with exercise pants, so those went away too. Never the hair or makeup though.. oh no, that would be the end of the world for me! lol

I'm 23... and I don't feel like I ever lost my 'swag' or my cool card. I did let myself go as far as weight is concerned. Luckily, it's reversible!
  • Not weird at all....... one of my main reasons is to be a hot mum for when I finally settle down and get pregnant. I don't want to be the "fat" mum who can't run with her kids.. I want to be the M.I.L.F! Looking hot while pregnant would be a massssssssive! Bonus!

Along those lines, I wanted to lose the weight so I could have a healthier and easier pregnancy. Being pregnant at a healthy weight is better for both you and the baby than being overweight or obese. To me, it isn't about what people think about me, but how healthy my baby is going to be.

No, it's not weird at all. If you want to be a mom, it's an awesome goal to try to be healthy for your pregnancy and after wards as you set an example for your kids.

It's also not weird at all to want to be slim for job interviews. First of all, I usually am at my small, est when job hunting because my suit is a size 8, and most of my other clothes are 10s and 12s.... Secondly, I want to be confident. I like to sit up straight.
