Need some motivational "friends"

I was a member of MFP before and am back again. I could really use some motivation and help from all you great people out there who have succeded and or are still in the process. I am experiencing some health problems due to my weight now and am to young for this to be happening. At the ripe at of 35 I would like to start the next journey in my life and make this one a healthy one. :flowerforyou:

  • I just turned 50. I have used this app on my phone before. Each time I do I am successful at losing weight. The only twist, along with a doctors guidance I adhere to the recommended calories for the day but I also limit my carbs to no more than 125 grams a day. I have lost 21 lbs in two weeks. I would like to lose another 40 lbs. in the next few months. I have never used this part and talk with others in my boat. So here goes any help and encouragement would be appreciated.

  • I started this lifestyle change on 8/8/12 at 262 pounds. I now weigh 236. I am 43 years old and had high blood pressure, prior to losing this weight. I no longer take bp medication. YIPPIE! I have a long way to go and I still have some bad days where I could eat everything. I treat myself to whatever I want every couple of weeks but I just eat less of it. I cut out pop, candy, junk food, high sodium, cut down my calories and have been working out four to five days a week. I need to lose another 37 pounds by Christmas and then I will decide my next goal. I want to be under 200 pounds by Christmas. That is my goal. A good group of inspirational and encouraging friends on here is essential!

Anyway- welcome and YOU CAN DO THIS! Everyone out there reading this- CAN DO THIS!
