Getting taller? =-O

Soooooo.......Everyone is posting their success stories about their weight loss........but I'm not only getting thinner, I'm getting taller ;-)

I weigh myself once a week in Boots (the chemist here in the UK) the machine does BMI, weight BF and height....

my first weigh in confirmed my stumpiness, but when I last weighed in I had grown 3 quarters of an inch :) haha!!

Any similar unexpected successes? :-P

How bizarre! I hope it works for me, being 5'2 with a 6'4 hubby is just not fair! It could be that the extra weight isnt compressing your vertebrae anymore, or that you have so much more confidence you are keeping your chin up :D

Could be it just seems that way.
I'm no doctor, but I suspect you are just standing more upright because self confidence comes through in body language.

    1. you've lost weight so you are not carrying around extra weight to drag you down physically and emotionally
    2. you look fantastic
    3. You probably feel fantastic too.

Good job and keep up the good work!

Good for you! Not only could less weight mean less compression on your vertebrae, but exercising correctly will improve posture.

People have asked me if I was getting taller recently, I thought they were nuts at the time, hehe. Perhaps they were right though, must be better posture!

Congratulations! You could be carrying yourself differently. Also, if you had a lot of thigh fat, and you couldn't put your legs together before, and now you can, that could add some height.
