My backyard run, lets see pics of your pretty route

<< Yes the picture is me and I am not a fitness model. But I love running and lifting. I lost 60 lbs and I have found once you get lean you can lift as heavy as you want and still run fast. I'm a girl and my muscles just don't get that big. If you stay natural like I do you don't have to be afraid of heavy lifting, you won't get big, you don't have the hormones for it to happen. I can't wait to try a marathon again some day as the "new me". I have been a runner for over 30 years consistently and have run distances from 3 miles, to marathons, to ultra marathons. I have found that the lifting has improved my running performance as well just getting rid of the excess fat.
Currently I only run for a length of time. I run HIIT 1-2 days a week, a few moderate pace runs, and at least one long easy run for an hour and a half or so. I also like to jog stairs for 30 minutes at least once a week.
Today I ran what I call my back yard run. I live at the edge of wilderness and this is my back yard and I just take off running. I love it. Sometimes I get scared if I think of mountain lions or bears, and I have seen them on rare occasions during the 20 years I have lived here, but it is quite rare and they run away from humans.
There is nothing like getting outside and feeling the breeze on your face, the sun on your skin, the sound of wind rustling the pine trees, the sound of trickling water, and the smell of the earth, and sometime gorgeous sunsets or sunrises (although that is the time there are more chances of mountain lions).
I'm just a country girl living a peaceful life in the mountains. My favorite days are just working hard and eating good at home.
Anyway here's some pics. Anyone else have some pretty running routes to share?

Wow it's so so pretty! I don't have anywhere like that, must be good motivation to go out compared to running down a street.0

This picture literally brought tears to my eyes. It is so, so beautiful. I am insanely jealous that you are exposed to that everyday.
I live .3 miles outside of Detroit (and not the East Side), so... my route is literally burnt out houses, vacant buildings, and the occasional squirrel.0 -
