I have some underlying food issues...has anyone ever gone to a psychologist for their food problems? What was the outcome? Do you think it helped?

I go to a psychologist, but not for food issues exclusively. We don't focus so much on the food issues alone, but the underlying causes and how to improve my mental wellbeing. I have found the sessions to be incredibly helpful and I has a HUGE skeptic going in there. Knowing why you do things helps you stop doing them0

Thanks for the insight! I've been considering it but I've also been afraid that a psychologist will just brush it off as a non issue :-/0
